Also I believe that game was at the old Legion Field in Birmingham. Tuscaloosa game day atmosphere should be much better.

That was also pre Saban. And the last game ever to be scheduled in Birmingham(trivia answer). We've talked to a couple of people about setting up a bus run from Birmingham. If they do that we would probably book it. But, we have a hotel booked about a mile from the stadium. We just like to cover as many bases as possible for away games.

  2. Different level story. I had a kid, 6 or 7 years old, sitting with an FAU family. The kid was wearing a USF shirt! so I went down to the rail and told a Sundoll that it would be awesome if she would throw a shirt up our way. She said hold on and gave me a shirt for him. Needless to say he was very happy. A few minutes later they actually threw one up my way so I turned around to give it to the USF kids buddy. That kid looked at me like I was driving a white van handing out candy.

Need to book a trip, looking forward to the schedule coming out.

Tuscaloosa and Hattiesburg are booked. Do need to see when FAU is scheduled. Hopefully a little later in the season after the two weeks in Alabama and Mississippi. Also hope we get 'Bama tickets without having to buy on the secondary market.

It's good that 100 of their homes still had functional tires.

Thanks for the save, I was so mad he said motor home instead of home and got hung up on not being able to say” I think they just call them homes” that I didn’t know where to go.

Sure wish we had their hillbilly money.

The moment this chant started they went on their epic tear.

    Not good.

The instant it started my wife, as always, said "Don't do that! Remember the Alabama game?" Referring to the football game in Birmingham when Shula was their head coach. We had the lead in that game until the "Shula sucks" chant... That and SEC refs.

According to my third-grade math skills, USF has won 80% of their games this year. Although the season is not over, USF is on track for the highest percentage of games won since '75~'76. I would like to think that this is the beginning of an upward trend, and not the sporadic 'one off' successful years we've experienced in the past. Yay, USF! :iconic_u_black:

I heard that coach Amir has already been approached by another team. Don’t know anything else.

We were out during the game. Checked my phone and saw we had a 23 point lead with 11 to go. Just assuming we won we called our son-in-law and told him you're welcome for giving him the tickets.  Then he relayed how the game ended. We got home and just watched. If I had been watching that live from home I would have turned it off in the last couple of minutes. My nerves couldn't have handled it.

My question to you guys. If and when we face them in the conference tournament, who goes into the game with more confidence?

15-2 all time. But, I think they will spend a lot more time in the paint on offense. It seems that USF is a one half team on offense. Defense, believe it or not, won this game.

Down at the half to an 8-win team. Fifteen wins, but this is the least talented and fundamentally sound USF team I’ve seen in many years. We’re turning into FAU’s you-know-what. I’d keep Levy and Blasigh and say goodbye to everyone else and start again. 🙂

Puisis and Schipholt. Schipholt has improved more than any player on the team.

Before the game coach announced there was some injury and they would see how she was after warmups. Didn't see any wrapping on ankles, knees, arms or hands. He didn't go into any details.

Coming back at the half she was on the side court doing some running and side step stretches instead of the shooting like everyone else was doing. So my guess is some sort of leg problem. Obviously not too serious.
