a bowl game is a bowl game - hopefully we'll be playing in the national championship bowl game in several years

lets take an ad out in the Oracle, St. Pete Times, and Tribune to let everyone know to wear a certain color on game days - that should get everyone's attention ;D i was looking at the schedule today and we only have 2 more home games - this sucks!

i actually got my tickets from a UM employee, so my seats were in the UM section - I bet I don't make up part of the total USF fans accounted for - so any number given has to be inaccurate.

did anyone notice the announcer for the UM Band sounded a little bit like Randy Macho Man Savage? ;D

isn't true that since our existence that we have yet to be shutout ? thats some kind of record i imagine.

i agree - i would have done the samething if i were in coker's shoes. don't take pity on a team if you're beating them by 20+ points in the 4th. this is only my perspective though since i'm to watching spurrier do it many many many times at uf.

it seemed that PJ either scrambled or bootlegged alot the whole drive and got us in their redzone. there wasn't alot of receptions or rushes. PJ threw a somewhat of a rainbow pass to our receiver (not sure who caught it) which was behind him, but ended up catching it. also the miami defender was called for pass intereference, but we scored anyways. i'm not sure if UMs 2nd or 3rd strings were in, I wasn't paying that close attention to it. it just seemed like it was down right sloppy drive - but it got us 6.

We need to have more weapons on offense. After whooping up on Louisville, UM saw that our primary weapon was rushing, especially w/ Hall. Once they shut him down, we had to rely on our passing game. This was their strategy because they knew we couldn't do much with our passing. Our passing game is horrible. Our receivers dropped numerous passes and Julmiste couldn't hit a scarecrow. Right now it seems like we are a defensive team. Once we get our offense on the same track, then we'll start to see more W's.

The game went how I thought it was going to - a loss, but not a blowout. We need these kinds of games to learn how big schools like UM work and play, these games also increase our exposure. Having grown up in Gville and gone to many UF games, going to Miami wasn't a big shock to me. I have high confidence in the Bulls and I think it's awesome that we've accomplished so much in only 8 years. If we continue to succeed at this rate, just think of how we are going to be in the next 10 years. In order to build a nationally ranked team, all we need is time. Go Bulls!

This is by far one of the worst stadiums I have been to. It's called the Orange Bowl because its covered in rust. Miami is a crazy town. I had lots of fun when I was there but the driving sucks. Who the hell puts street signs on the ground? While I was driving looks for street signs I realized that they were painted on rocks on the ground - that made for some fun driving. I think I might go back there again if there is a game worthy of seeing.

Hi - new to the boards I just don't understand why we were talking so much crap from our players and fans as well. Yes Miami is beatable, but regardless it still is Miami. The game went as I thought, a loss but not a blow out. Our defense was solid, unlike our offense. UM knew our strength, Hall. Once they shut him down, we pretty much had to rely on our air game - which is not that great. This is our first season in the big east and first time we are playing with the bigger and better schools. Give it about 5 years or so and we'll be getting better recruits and we'll be competetion. All though I would love to see USF do great, I just don't think we are at that point yet to be classified as a top team. I do believe that a bowl game is achivable this year - we only need 3 more games to qualify and with us being in the Big East this year, that should improve our chances.
