  1. Seating situation can be very confusing.  I don't know how many time people have walked through tons of people just to find out there seats are on the other side. Since you have an small traveling party your seats will be decent.  Kepp in mind that seats can be tight and they are just metal bleachers.  There may be empty seats wich will give you more room since it sounds like you did not sell many tickets.  Also keep in mind the first row is row A and then they go through row q then rows 1 through 95 (there are 112 rows on the east side).  Sow row 1 is actually the 18th row.  (this is because originally row 1 was the first row at the track.  the staduim was then lifted up on jacks and the track was filled in with seats) The visitors section is ussually the first 30 row or so  of EH, EJ , and NL.  Most likely you will only be sitting in Eh and EJ.  View from EH: View from EJ View fron NL http://www.psu.edu/sports/football/stadium/seatingchart/index2.html
  2. Of the 5 Big Ten schools not listed, 4 Iowa, Ohio State, Indiana, snd Minnesota are not members so are not listed. The only school that is a member that is not listed is Northwestern.
  3.  That will help alot.  You can be from the airport to the hotel in 10 minutes.  Then to the staduim in 15-20.  Most of the hotels are on the otherside of campus.
  4. on sunday it will be a 5 min drive. It amazing how efficiently they park cars. All roads leading to the staduim are two lane so game day they are one way only. Mid game the reverse direction. they park more then 25,000 vehicles for one game.
  5. Don't rush your trip. Since you won't have much time to tailgate before the game. Depending on what time your flight arrive it will probally be a 45 min drive to the hotel. The airport is near the staduim, the problem is that the direct routes from the airport to the hotels are closed for parking traffic. So by the time you check in and get back to the staduim it could verywell be aroun 2. I would highly recommend hanging out around the staduim after the game and enjoying the post game taigate. Then go downton and enjoy the bars. There is plety to fill up the next day untill your 3pm flight.
  6. The game will be a 3:30 Kick-Off with television coverage on ESPN Plus. http://www.gopsusports.com/pressreleases/pressrelease.cfm?anncid=8275
  7. BWi is really easy to fly into. would give you about 2.5 hour drive to state college non gameday. If you can't stay in SC i recomend staying in Harrisburg which is an easy 1:15 min from BWI. the its about 1.5-2 hours to SC on game day.
  8. beastiebull it obvious that you probally never played a down of college football in your life. 11 game season is very long and then add in a bowl game the season can be really abusing to you, not to mention as a player there is no real off season. Eliminating the OFF-Week with 12th games is a killer. As a college player we always looked forward to tat week to get caught up on everything else and get the bumps and bruises healed. It not like the NFL where you have practice squads and barely any contact in practice.
  9. Most likely it will be a 12 kick on ESPN+. All of our games were on tv last year and 166 of the last 168 were on tv. So it a safe best this one will be.
  10. 1. tickets will be redily available in the parking lot or through our ticket office if you can not get them from USF.  If you buy in the parking lot ou will not pay more then face value of $48. 2.  Get your hotel now.  Some may still be available in SC but they will fill up fast.  If your flying here my recomendation of airports and alternative place to stay if SC is filled. 1. State College.  Altoona only a 40 min drive on game day. 2. Harrisburg. Stay in harrisburg and it will only be a 2 hr drive if you leave early (7am for 12 kickoff) or 2:30-3:00 if you leave later. 3. Baltimore.  Stay in harrisburg.  Only about 1:15 to harrisburg from BWI. 4. Pittsburgh 4hr drive to State College on game day from the airport and about 3hrs to Altoona 5. Philly 4hr drive to SC  about 2hrs to harrisburg Visiting fan seats are in the first 30 or so rows of sections Eh, EJ, NL, NK
  11. . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- first of all it was based on 2004 results. It is skewed to the Big East and the ACC due to the major calculation is based on percentage of teams going to a bowl game and the winning percentage of the teams in the conference. By virtue of playing each other a conference recieves one loss and one win. Since the big ten played 88 conference games last year the the conference will automatically lose at least 44 games or 4 games per team. The New Big East teams only Played 30 games against each other so the conference was only gurenteed 15 losses or 1.9 loss per team. Also the big east had 6 members going to bowls. That will not happen this year but was able to happen because of 3 teams playing in different conferences. Example : Big Ten Best possible percentage if they won all occ games in 2004: 44-44 in conference games 33-0 in noconference games total winning percentage possible: 77-44 .63 Big East : Conference games against new big east teams: Louisville: 2 Cinci: 3 USF: 3 Syracuse: 5 Uconn: 4 Pitt: 5 Rutgers: 4 WVU:4 30 Conference games 15-15 in conference games 58-0 in noconference games total winning percentage possible: 73-15 .83 Infact if the big east repeated last year record of 53-35 it would have to go 32-7 in the non conference schedule wich is would be impossible to do.
  12. Robinson stats were bad from last year but don't look to far inbto those. He was our starting WR last year and part time Qb. In between he missed 3 games with a concussion. Missing time with an injury and not getting to pratice at QB will really hurt your numbers. He now has been practicing full time at QB and loked sharp in the spring, going 7 for 7 and 149yards in the spring game. Add the threat to run he can be a very effective Qb. PSu certainly will be a 2 touchdown favorite in this game.
  13. It will be shown on tv. 167 of our last 168 games have been on TV, i don't think it will change for this game. Most likely it will be on ESPN+ and shown on gameday package if it not in your local area.
  14. The optimisim for improvement on O is the fact the we adressed our need at wr, shich has killed up in the past. derrick williams, rivals number one player this year has really turned heads after enrolling early and participating in spring drills. Basically we return 11 staters on defense and 9 on offense.
