  1. I haven't seen Ponton play. But looking at his pictures, he appears to have a similar body type as Ernest Graham. Would that be a fair comparison? I thought that Graham was a good college RB and strong between the tackles. I wish him well with the Bucs.
  2. Forgot to add Lenny Hamilton to the list. Wish SG continued success at Va Tech as he inherited a group of talented players. Anyone notice the guard play against Duke? All things considered, could SG's best team at USF knock off Duke? Probably not. I like the slow progress we are making under RM.
  3. Yes, sell his abilities to an NBA team owner, take the money and fail miserably, i.e Calipari, Petino and PJ Carlisisemo.
  4. I'm glad he is staying. I previously posted that Dewayne Dixon would have been a good replacement but I am truly happy he is staying. Read where Tennessee and NCS would be implicated in a "street agent" article soon to be published by SI. I doubt that was a contributing factor as Coach Dawsey has repeatedly stated this was his home and he wanted to stay.
  5. Speaking of the Greenery, I remember $1.00 Heinekens and 2 for 1 subs on Wednesday. Hung out there Wednesday nights after the library on the way back to the lair.
  6. I agree, it dosen't look could for Hill. I hope Grothe will be ready to contribute and show his work ethic. Regarding the starter for the Penn State game, I always thought that PJ would be the starter but that Denson will play alot. After that, Hill and Grothe would play some just to see how they would respond to game situations (yes I know that would cost elgibility). My thoughts are that Hill will make it to campus by the summer but this surely does not benefit the guy and gives an upper-hand to Grothe.
  7. What ever happened to him? I was hoping he could transfer our way.
  8. If he leaves (which I 'm anticipating) possible consideration could be given to former UF receiver coach Dewayne Dixon. He's young;placed several receivers in the NFL; knows the FL recruiting market; can relate to younger guys; is available; familiar with Coach Franks; shown good stability (at UF for +/- 18 years). If Dawsey dosen't go this year, then soon as he is very marketable. I hope he stays!
