The crazy thing is we might play Tulsa in our first game if they win there first game against more then likely ECU
Bring it on. At a neutral site, we beat them no prob. We won’t shoot that poorly again and Haggerty won’t score 30+ again.

I'd rather the streak end in this probably meaningless game than in the AAC tournament.
Agreed, but this certainly means our only path to the dance is as the AQ from the tournament. Probably was anyway, but this definitely cements it. We need to win three games next week. Let’s keep perspective - what a run it was. Not over yet . . .

Had to happen eventually and here it is. Haggerty can’t miss and we’re cold.

Bobby Boser is on quite a tear!

Bats got it going so far this week. Great job! Pitching today didn’t give a lot of confidence, but it’s a W. Let’s keep it going.

What a fantastic bunch. You keep waiting for THAT game where it unravels, but they just know how to finish like no team I’ve seen. So much fun.

Forbes can’t miss and that dude looks like he’s about 35

How is Tulane’s record not better? They have some dudes who can score.

Giving up 40+ in the half? Gotta lock that down, fellas.

Ahh, so they won’t use their fifth year.
edit: Story says they expect to return. I see that now

So who will be recognized on senior night? Hmmm

Time to start coming out on the right side of the scoreboard. If the pitching holds up, we have a chance to get it going. Five games this week. We need to get most of them and get some confidence going.

Yep. Two evenly matched teams for sure. Rose makes that play at 3rd base if we are at home. Must have just took a weird hop on him.
Haven’t been too impressed with him at third. I’d put him at second and move Boser to third.

I’m old enough to have seen Charlie Bradley play in person. This season is a dream come true . . . and there’s still more that can be achieved to make it truly epic.

Promising that we’re getting good pitching - gives us a chance to eventually get things going.

I know there are a few here. Beta is scheduled to be demolished! Should we start a Save Beta campaign?

Well. Can't say im not surprised. Appears it was a good game though. Let's hope the bats come around
We do have four wins against the worst team in the country - Marist, who was run-ruled again today, 15-3 by mighty Columbia.

And we blow it. Lose 3-2 in 10
Lets keep waiting for that turnaround.
I’m running out of time to spend on these guys. Since the Super Regional - 21 games under .500. I may check back in if they can get something going, but gotta move on now.

And there is another “L” - we’ve watched a basketball team this season that knows how to close out games. These guys are the opposite of that. Multiple innings with runners in scoring position that could have put it out of reach. Failed every time.

i think i have to stop watching, i must be bad luck, i started watching at bases loaded 1 out in the 8th
Yep, can see where this one is going. Tie game.

Bases loaded with one out in the eighth - nothing
-
Pitching pretty well, but leaving runners in scoring position all night. May come back to beat us if we can’t get the last 6 outs and finish it.
No At Large in play.

Our league is underrated, but the reason we’re not considered for the at-large is our non-conference schedule. We clearly scheduled light on purpose to help us transition with a new staff/team. It was the right thing to do at the time. It backfired because we ended up being solid. Next year, we’ll certainly step up the non-league schedule to give us a chance at some quality wins.
Today was a reality check. We’ll probably get another one in a few hours when Karter Knox announces his plans.
