I have no idea what happened. I was wathcing we were tied. Then them game feed went out on espn+. It isn't showing now as live or on demand. Did we come back and win? I will have to wait and see what happened.

Yep, loaded the bases in the bottom of 10 and got the run home on a squeeze bunt by pinch hitter Robertson.

Looks like we will still see this guy next season

Tulsa transfer guard PJ Haggerty, On3’s No. 2 overall transfer portal prospect, is officially off the board and headed to Memphis. He says he chose Penny Hardaway and the Tigers over Texas, Kansas State, and Providence.

Guess he’s not interested in any coaching.

  3. Wichita is coming in this weekend with a 18-9, 5-1 record (although they have games today and Wednesday vs. Oklahoma and Kansas which might help us thin their pitching). If there was a weekend to show some life and get a spark, this is it.

And softball is the same Groundhog Day story. They have 24 wins, but just 4-8 in conference and haven’t won a weekend series yet - 0-4 (3 against the former C-USA newcomers). They rode Corrick for so long and don’t have an identity since.

Both of these programs have settled into mediocrity a bit and need a spark.

I left my heart (almost literally) in Austin circa 2021.  Haven't been able to summon Bulls baseball enthusiasm since.

Understood. I was right there with you, my friend. There hasn’t been anything since to create any enthusiasm. We’re 65-82 (18-36 in league play) since beating South AL to win that Gainesville regional.

Mink threw a complete game in the first of a twin bill at Charlotte.  Bulls win 11 -2 with Mayo having a big game.   Cebert has laid an  egg in the night cap.  Bulls down 5 - 2 in the 5th.  Mayo had another big 2 out hit to cut it to 5-2, but Monique left the bases loaded.

Snow isn't playing today.   Not sure what happened but Charlotte announcers mentioned the injury bug for USF at the end of Game 1.  We really can't afford too many injuries

Snow has been dealing with a back issue all year - explains his lack of power.

  6. Just turned it on to watch Archie Implode - flew him to Charlotte for an inning and a third. Yikes. Not sure this team is ever going to be able to put it all together this year. They show signs here and there, but there’s no consistency anywhere. Still plenty of innings left today.

Not watching the game, but a Monique error at 3rd (why is he at 3rd?) opened up that inning.   T MInk has not done well anyway though

He wasn’t helped by the error - could have got out of the inning - but inherited a 5-1 lead and . . .

yes. my son currently attends the Catholic VPK-8 in the area (not putting the school out there for his safety). they push for Mooney but we are almost as far north as u guys & Mooney is quite a haul down.

St. Stephen’s is everyone’s first choice due to proximity & academic quality but unfortunately we can’t afford either. he has been a Step Up recipient virtually his entire life & also receives in-house assistance as we are parishioners…

he is a perpetual Principal’s list student & receives all A’s with an occasional B due to elevated classes (& Catholic teachers who think this is the 1950s & homework is a punitive tool rather than learning enrichment but i digress… lol). has won plenty of awards & academic contests that the school gets students involved in.

please message me so we can talk, possibly exchange emails/phone numbers.

    thank u for the information!

I tried to send you a message through the site, but it said you can’t accept messages. I’m happy to discuss any time! If you want to talk, give me a call on campus - (941) 746-2121. Go Bulls!

Nice!  Looks like you had fun.  Good stage, lighting, and video quality is great.  Wish I could play like that, Dave!

I was just at a three day Progressive Rock festival last week.  Genesis, ELP, Rush, Gentle Giant, Yes, Jethro Tull, etc.  Fifty years ago I was listening to the same music and getting the same buzz.  Great to see that I've made such progress in half a century!

Sounds like a GREAT show - all tribute acts?

We’re starting to get noticed. Lots of big gigs upcoming the next three weekends!

I didn't get to see the game.  So the ball hit him well out of the strike zone and he called him out?

The pitch was riding in on him and he lifted his arms up - my take was to get the ball to go under his arms - but it hit him and they called it an intentional act, called him out and cost us a run with the bases loaded. But we stranded FIFTEEN again today. Have to do a better job of hitting with guys on.
