    Pretty much all of "us" here from thebullspen will still be in the stands, but don't kid yourself. If UCF got into ANY P5 conference and we remain in a non-P5 conference it would be catastrophic for the program in regards to public image and recruiting.

    It's VERY likely that by 2030 all of the conferences will be re-shuffled into 4 conferences of 16 teams. This is a short-term solution.

    The problem is that logic discussions aren't really allowed on this topic. If you don't 100% agree with these groups you're immediately labeled a bigot. There is no debate. You're a horrible person. Companies, schools, organizations, churches, etc are just rolling over because they are afraid of the discussion at this point. That's the problem. I 100% support the "peaceful protest" concept. The problem now, however, is that the "protesters" have now taken control of the narrative and their's is the only point that is allowed to be expressed. (OK.. that's enough politics... )

    I have no love for BYU, but I really hate the empowerment these political agenda groups have been given. People are so afraid to labeled a "hater" that logic debate and discussion is almost no longer possible.

    This. Besides writing a HUGE check to the B12, there is literally NOTHING that we as a group (or even USF as a university) can to do get USF into the B12. All peppering other forums with "USF to the Big12!!! OMF!!!" would do is look poorly on our fans.

    Why is it silly to only invite one? (Not being a jerk.. it's an honest question. I keep hearing this here and in the national media and I really don't understand the sentiment.)

    We've never sniffed 10 wins, so it's pretty crazy to ask that question.

    I wouldn't get too worked up. There is zero chance that this is the only correspondence they've had. This is likley just a formality and it was released just to give some clear evidence that communication is ongoing. Any REAL talks would likely be covered by an NDA at this point (in effect if not in actuality) so I'm not sure what people were expecting. Or this....

    I can't believe all of this would occur without some type of Grant of Rights (GOR) clause for existing and new members.
