GAME DAY vs. UTSA USF will hit the road looking for its third road victory of the season (would be most since 2017), sixth win overall and bowl eligibility for the first time since 2018 when they take on UTSA in a Friday night primetime game in San Antonio. UTSA will be the fourth of five first-year AAC foes the Bulls face in 2023 and the second of three first-ever meetings with programs (Rice, UTSA & Charlotte). USF won its first such clash of the year over Rice and closes the season with back-to-back first time meetings with UTSA and Charlotte. ATKINS DIET: Sean Atkins, one of 10 semifinalists for the Burlsworth Trophy, has injected reliability and explosiveness into the Bulls offensive diet. His 2,538 passing yards are just 373 shy of the USF season record (2,911) and he is averaging 253 ypg. His 517 total yards vs Rice led the nation until Week 11 (now 2nd) and he joins LSU’s Jayden Daniels as THE ONLY TWO players in the nation with 2,500+ passing yards and 600+ rushing yards. He is the No. 6 rushing QB in the nation (659), No. 7 nationally in total offense (319.7 ypg) and No. 29 in passing (2,538).
