  1. Rutgers' pressure was a big key. We'll have to do the same to force some bad throws.

Agreed. Even announcers were pointing out that Palko gets flustered/makes bad decisions under pressure. Hopefully our BULLS D will have their best game ever!!!!   :GoBulls   :GoBulls   :GoBulls

  2. Well technically, if their boss told them not to talk to the media, then they ARE "unavailable for comment"!  ;D  ;D  ;D  I'm just saying, the Tampa media (and the Trib particularly) seem to be trying to make a bigger deal out of this "media ban" than it really deserves. It's not like NOBODY in the program is allowed to talk to the media. Plenty of players and even Jim Leavitt himself are quoted in multiple sources every week.  I don't see the reason to continually point out the obvious.  Comes across to fans as a cheap shot at their program and their coach.

  3. You guys crashed it again!!!!!!   ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D

    Fatal error: Can't open file: 'sessions.MYI' (errno: 145) query: SELECT u.*, s.* FROM users u INNER JOIN sessions s ON u.uid = s.uid WHERE s.sid = '7c9c50915efa301def25bb73acbecb7a' AND u.status < 3 LIMIT 0, 1 in /var/www/html/drupal/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66
  4. Tailgating is almost non-existant in Chapel Hill, but I will tell ya'll a little secret if you are driving:

Near Columbia St and Franklin St (more or less the northwest corner of UNC's campus) there is a private parking lot that opens early, allows tailgating and is run by some nice folks.  The stadium is about a fifteen minute walk through the Carolina campus -- look for the bell tower or just ask someone.

    Directions

I-40 to exit 270 West toward Chapel Hill

Yahoo maps shows it as N. Fordham Blvd or Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd

Stay to the right as the road divides to become E. Franklin St.

    E. Franklin St. crosses S. Columbia St.

  5. We have reservations here for the UL game:

    Super 8 Motel - Louisville/Expo Center

    101 Central Avenue

    Louisville , Kentucky   40209

    United States

    1-502-635-0799

We noticed this hotel 2 years ago when we traveled to UL game. It is literally a stone's throw from Papa John's Stadium. We walked past the hotel as we were walking to the stadium from where we had to park. They also have a free shuttle from the airport & continental breakfast. It's not the Four Seasons, but it seems like a great option if you're just flying into town for the game.

  6. I do like the sign!!!  Also, from yesterday's Lakeland Ledger:

Ponton goes into the North Carolina game listed as the No. 2 back behind Lake Wales' Benjamin Williams, but he is expected to work into the starting roll, although Leavitt won't confirm that.

"Benjamin has run hard from the beginning and he hasn't slowed down. That's why he's in there," Leavitt said.

"Ponton hasn't played," Leavitt said. "We'll have to wait and see how he plays, see how it will all work out."
