We were closest to the plasma, wearing the white (hubby) & green (me) football jerseys.  Capogna's was a great place to watch the BULLS, we'll be back, and get there earlier to get better seats!!!  Thanks for all you do for Pinellas area alumni.

i guess the penalties part is somewhat to be expected considering how young we are.

Not to go "smazza" on you, but we have been saying this about the penalties for 10 years!!!!!!  When is our youth going to stop being an excuse for inexcusable penalties? Excessive/unwarranted penalties have been killing us for the past 10 years, and they will continue to be a thorn in our side until the coaches can get this under control. Why don't they see this!?!???!?

I'm no football guru, but why do you say that JL couldn't challenge the call on Smith's (supposed) fumble???  It looked pretty clear on the replay that his knee hit the ground before the ball popped out.  We were wondering all night (as were radio broadcasters on post-game show) why Leavitt did not challenge the call, unless he was too worried about losing a time out. But his people in the booth should have been able to tell him that he should challenge.  Why do you think he could not have challenged it?

Yes, my husband & I were there, in the back by the kitchen. You stopped by & said hi, we just didn't mention the board. Bullspen.com nametags are definitely in order for the next watch party.

BTW, the calzones at Capogna's were awesome!! Great food & great BULLS atmosphere!!!

Sorry Beef's in Orlando was a bust. Maybe next time you can check out the Beef's in Brevard.

What the heck is a phog anyway???

Been to Georgia Southern, Southern Miss, Alabama, Miami, Bowl Game, & UCF so far. Planning on UNC & maybe Louisville this season, and of course bowl game (unless it's in Toronto ~ Canada in Dec. is too dang cold for this Florida native )    Will make future trips to any in-state game, and probably any other game where Southwest flies!!!!

These are a lot of fun.  The Bull Backers attend the Capogna's party hosted by the Pinellas County Alumni Chapter -- but ALL of the watch parties are great places to cheer on the bulls with other Bull fans...

The official "Bulls Club" watch parties also have give-aways and other prizes courtesy of USF.

If you live near one of these parties, then GO!  Much, much more fun than sitting at home - no matter the size of your TV.

Wow, their QB situation sounds eerily similar to ours. Phenom freshman wins out the job over last year's starting senior. I could be totally over reacting here, but does anyone wonder if the KU coaches are reporting Meier's injury to the press to throw off S. Florida's expectations for which QB they will be using in our upcoming game?

That could be, but to me there is a world of difference between harsh public criticism of men being paid good $$$$$ to play NFL football and student athletes that are busting their butts on the field & off!!! I don't know how GOL can sleep at night - what a creep!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading Coach Leavitt's post-game comments, I'm so glad we have a coach with character, unlike that jerk O'Leary. These are college kids for pete's sake - their own coach should be building them up, not tearing them down.  Is O'Leary really so insecure that he has to bash his own players to feel better about himself? How sad.

On a personal note, I was glad to see that the coaches & players took notice of the {Knights say:} U-C-F - {Bulls say:} SUCKS chant. I don't think the UCF cheerleaders tried that one more than once!!!!
