  1. wow smazza being optimistic and supporting the basketball team, i'm shocked...but back on topic, what do you guys consider a full team? we now have 11 players alot more than we've had recently, and with the players we have i'd say we are fine with what we have
  2. i think collin dennis would be a good 6th man coming off the bench, don't think he is starter material
  3. the one time i talked to kiefer he seemed pretty nice
  4. if our starting line up looks something like buck, melvyn Richardson, howard, holmes and solomon, i think we could have a chance to surprise some people, they way they played today at the scrimage was impressive, they really played great together
  5. hence why i said when we need to go deep go deep, just with passing the way its been, rather stick with the short ball, easier to connect passes
  6. short passes and run the ball, no going deep unless we have to.
  7. hey bulliever do you think you could post that link at the top of the page so its always there for us to read and post on?
  8. i'm sure any bar in the area should get it, as its the big east game of the week i believe
  9. they announced it before the soccor game, i couldn't believe what i had heard, just stood in shock and still am in shock, an amazing guy off and on the court, #12 will be in our hearts always
  10. so i'm watching the beginning of the miami game and when they talk about the hurricanes defense, the only game they show is ours, > WTF?
  11. Fernandez has also been here a few more years longer than McCullum, give McCullum some time to get his program set and to be able to recruit the players he wants here. This will be the first year he will be playing with a team that he recruited 90% of the team. Let's see how this year turns out. But its also good to see the WBB getting some attention, keep up the good work Fernandez and McCullum
  12. and just how many dorms do you want USF to add? we have now at least 17 and thats not including each building in holly, and each building in cypress, maple and magnolia, we have plenty of dorms and most of the students live within 3 miles of campus, how much closer do we need to get before we aren't considered a commuter school? also don't forget about greek village which itself close to 100 beds if not more.
  13. DawgPound, Velcro is referring to the Big East Conference Tournament which is played every year at Madison Square Garden, if i'm not mistaken i bullieve 2 teams each year get leftout of the tournament
  14. my bad, ALOT of people were excited to play them, better?
  15. nice post chicky, i'd have to say in our conference it would have to be either louisville or pitt, i'd say more louisville because of our history with them and traveling with them from conference usa to the big east, pitt only because we went in to their stadium and upset them, but they have taken the next 2 games from us. out of conference, wether we want to admit it or not, ucf has a good chance at being a rivalry just by sheer location and our mutually hatred of each other. take a look at the game at how many fights broke out, by far the one team everybody was excited to play.
  16. my dog Rocky, because he moves around alot, and can go side to side quickly
  17. yes i know they aren't my boys, they just happen to be in my fraternity
  18. most likely usf will wait till the last minute, if u remember last year during one of the hurricanes every other school in the state closed and usf waited till the last possible second to announce they were staying open. don't see anything different here, although this decision would affect wvu and whoever was traveling down for the game so who knows
  19. to quote usfphil in response to somebody making a remark about us needing something "have you ever thought of making a generous contribution to USF Athletics?"
  20. woolybully, i know, as a student here for the past 5 years, it makes me mad to look up and see that area around the pirate ship filled and people not paying attention to the game. people in my own fraternity come to the game and usually leave before the game is over, i had to make them wait at the end of the ucf game, because they didn't care about the game anymore, cause it was a blowout. some of my boys would rather go to uf games than to usf games, it makes me mad. the students only care about our sports if we win, until then we will keep seeing what we have been, that is nobody coming to support, we aren't ready for a on campus stasium yet and this coming from a huge supporter of it. we first need the students and fans to be interested in the game, and to stay the entire time, to cheer them on and show the team support. until this happens, let us put to rest this notion of an ocs.
  21. chitown you really suck, i really hate you for this post, damnit stop this ****, its not funny >
  22. its good that there were a ton of people at the soccer stadium to watch the game, but when u can barely fill the lower bowl for bull mania and to watch the usf football game, its not good. but i do want to thank those who went to both and actually cheered
