    Ask him why in "Madden NFL2004" for Playstation, they made him so slow? I'll bet he's played it and fumed at how slow they made him. He's horrible in that game!

    Where did I say our QB performance was acceptable?  Where did I say that it should not be criticized.  My point was:  If the two Qb's that are currently splitting time are as horrible as they currently are, then why isn't Louis G. seeing more playing time?  Simple: because he is WORSE!  Don't you think if he were any better he would be playing?  Do you think CJL has some sort of "personal" problem with the kid?  I can assure you CJL does not have a personal problem with Louis G, he just isn't ready.  Yeah a lot of Frosh Qbs play in their first year in college.  Unfortunatly the one we have is not good enough to do so, OR ELSE HE WOULD BE PLAYING. It's called reading comprehension.

    I agree. Be careful though. If you say anything negative about CJL you get lambasted on this board. I mentioned it in the chat and the "CJL" can do no wrong crowd" started foaming at the mouth. These are the same people that think RMC did a great job last year. We looked very unprepared for this game. If teams like Troy, Fresno State et al can win big games, we should at least be able to be competetive. We are not.

    Yeah these guys know what they're talking about. They give us the edge at QB?! They have obviously not done their research.

    Is the game on CSS tomorrow? I get that channel. I may just hide out and not look at the board until tomorrow and try to watch it. Can anyone confirm that it's on CSS tomorrow at 330?

    All that keeps coming to mind for me is the last time we played in front of a hostile SEC crowd. I can't shake that feeling and am afraid it is going to be a similiar outcome at USC. If we would have had SC or AL at home in 2002 we could have beat either one. However, with our current QB situaton and the lack of poise showed by our players against TT (way too many penalties for a home game) I think we're in deep. To me, when we were in AL, our players looked scared. I don't think this team is as good as the one that went to AL. I don't see them pulling this one out. Just being realistic.

    This is great. I can't wait until we enter the BE! But wait that means nothing....hey whichever gnat told me in another thread that the BCS means nothing, read Carlton Hill's comments!!! I think we'll keep "the BE thing"!!

    Even if 3 of them transfer, and that ain't gonna happen, we are still in great shape. The cream will rise and stay with us. Whether it's Denson, Grothe, Hill or even Gachette, one of them will provide us with stability at QB - much like MB did. With stability at QB and the young defense and young running backs we currently have, we will be peaking as we enter the BE. I love being a BULL!!!!!

    Chip on your shoulder? How can you possibly have gathered that I said USF has better qbs on their roster than ucf from that post? The envy is about the future, and about who we have coming in. I'll be the first one to admit that I am not impressed with our current QBs, although from what I hear Julmiste is really impressing people thus far. However, with Groethe, Denson, and Fayson all likely being on the roster in 3 years, there will be a definite upgrade.

    There is no reason Fayson will not come to USF: He wants to be close to his family and play in front of his family, he wants to play in a BCS conference, he wants to develop his skills in superior facilities, he wants to play for a proven winner, he doesn't want to live in Minnie Mouse town, he doesn't want to go to Minnie Mouse U etc., etc..... Keep dreaming ucf this kid is NOT changing his mind. Thanks for playing.

    No he probably meant the latest QB, already one of the top Qbs in the state as a JUNIOR, committing to USF. If ucf got any greener with envy, they'd look like USF.

    Smazza, what TV station is going to be willing to televise a game and purchase ad time for a game that will draw about 40000 viewers? We can't just tell FSN or ESPN "Hey put this game on TV. Why? Cuz we said so." Just doesn't work that way.

    Reggie is great don't get me wrong, but McNamara is frigging awesome. Didn't he score like 40 points in an NCAA tourney game? I would say Reggie is the poor man's Gerry Mc at best. He's much quicker than Reggie and actually JUMPS when he shoots. Reggie barely gets off the ground when he does and brings the ball from down near his hip. Would get swatted by ost good defenders.

    Why does everyone think we are going to be that good? We have NO QB, our best defensive players are gone. WE HAVE NO QB! We can't just run the ball down people's throats, I don't care how many UNPROVEN RBs we have on our roster. D's are going to key on the run and there wil be nothing we can do about it. Our defense is not as good as it was last year. Lastly and most importantly, we have a very tough schedule.
