    ..at the Sports Fan Attic. The manager there said we are switching to Nike as our uniform manufacturer. That should mean that we should see more diversified merchandise, i.e. basketball jerseys. Any truth to this?

    It'll be nice and hot at 4pm!  Peak Panther roasting time.  I think the game start time gives us a huge advantage as all of our boys are from Fl and have practiced in the heat their entire lives. BTW, according to the above article, Pitt gets $460000 for agreeing to the change. What do we get?

    It freightens me that he is already talking about juggling QBs. If CJL is unsure, that just means that none of these guys are impressing anybody. Another year of watching 13-10 defensive struggles. Yaay.

    Maybe they should of talked about the outstanding offensive output at our spring game, or maybe our awesome crowd. Both were exceptionally putrid.

    They were about a week late in coming but are actually pretty cool. They are all dark green with the logo in gold and outlined in white. Only gripe is that they are a little smaller than your original equipment manufacturer car mats. Overall a good deal for $45 or so bucks. They do catch your eye when you get into the car. www.fanmats.com or call the fanmats store in Atlanta.

    Basket, I don't think RMC is the right man to lead us into the BE. He was hired before we were slated to make the move. I feel that had we known about the move prior to his hiring, that he would not be our coach. I don't want to get into the whole argument on this board again. You can pull up my last 50 or so posts and rehash the whole thing.

    RMC has yet to find that special asst coach who is short enought to be in perpetual boot-licking position. I believe that is why he prefers short players as well.

    Still waiting for the first good thing to happen to this program under RMC.  The only comfort I have is knowing that this will not last long.  RMC was unequivocally a Leroy Selmon hire.  The new AD won't let this program continue to go in the direction it is going.

    Nothing short of a coaching change can help us now. We're one sorry season and one sorrier recruiting class into this nightmare. The hole is becoming too deep.

    My bad. I didn't read the article you posted Smazza. I thought you were posting about Southern Cal since you live out there. South Carolina is a different story. Post on.

    My point exactly Bulldoug. Some people act like the teams we are going to be playing against don't have "heart". All other things being equal a taller PF or C is going to dominate a shorter player.

    A class of midgets and only 2 will be true freshmen when this season starts. I don't care what anyone says or if RMC is their hero. This class does NOT bode well for the BE or CUSA for that matter. The BE is a tougher, physical style of play conference unlike CUSA, Pac 10 or even the Big 12. Apparently RMC thinks we are going to the MAC and not the BE. This is pathetic.

    If we had even a halfway decent QB we would have been 8-3, probably 9-2 with a win over at that time undefeated TCU. I think a national top 25 ranking would not have been out of the question at that point. TCU was the most disappointing though.

    Come on guys. We don't exactly look like world beaters on offense this year either. I'm sure Pitt will be ready when Sept 4 comes around. Just like we say it's only spring practice, they are saying the same thing. I'm sure they look at our QB situation and drool.

    They were $48.14 with tax. Not a bad deal considering original equipment manufacturer mats are like $35. I think I'm going to feel weird having people putting their dirty shoes all over them though. It is our logo after all.

    Everybody rips BB. Granted when the game clock wasnt running he walked around like a 90 year old man, but everytime I watched him during a game he was busting his tail. He was far from a bust and I would hate to see what this team would have looked like without him.
