  1. I guess I forgot about that connection, not sure how. Really really sad!
  2. Tchewa played very well as i stated. He needs to keep the ball up high and not continue to bring it low as he gets stripped far too often, this is coaching and he will continue to improve. Yetna gave me one play that showed his old explosiveness and lift, I have not given up on him just thought he would be a quicker recovery, but you are right an ACL is not tweaking an ankle, hope he comes back all the way.
  3. We really do just play one on one, Collins has gotten worse, too slow and does not handle the ball well enough, turnovers kill us. Durr has really improved but has a low ceiling, dude has no ups. JB is streaky but can’t create like the rest of the team. We have said ad nauseam how Lex lost his athleticism, Castaneda is better but lacks a burst and quickness. Tchewa is a project and does not handle the ball well but is showing improvement and am liking what I see, Murphy is a freak athlete but he is not sure what to do with the ball to score. In the end we are simply mediocre.
  4. I agree and called for it, I was wrong. Yetna is not Yetna, we have no real PG, and have no pure shooters. You can’t win making 60 percent from the line and 25 percent from 3. Pre covid we were lame and post covid we are as well, maybe next year unless we get overcome by locusts or a typhoon or a meteor strike or some other BS to rationalize our own ineptness.
  5. He does and he is passionate and talented, tired of being out coached. Don’t disagree with any of your analysis, very similar to this thread, Yetna showed just one glimpse of his former self in a rebound and layup, I have not given up on him yet but he is nowhere close to what he was.
  6. So we are getting out coached by a slug from GA State, that does not bode well. This team didn’t win a conference game the year before last.
  7. This really is the question, let him play out and then we make a decision. I am losing confidence in him but let’s see what happens. It is kind of like High school, we are dating a fat chick and want to dump her but have no better options so we hope she puts down the pizza slice and sheds some lbs, tapping a big ass is better than no ass, at least while you are young and full of testosterone. Now I would simply go to bed.
  8. I would agree with everyone else, drop the program and we suffer less embarrassing losses, seems simple and it saves money. If we can’t be competitive then let’s not play the game.
  9. We cannot beat the press, cannot shoot free throws, cannot protect the ball and cannot shoot are a few of the reasons.
  10. Yes, hate to say it but we kinda suck. Not all out suck like FB but there is a level of suckness that cannot be ignored.
  11. He really is the only player that we have that can be classified as a pure shooter. I like him stepping up and hitting these, starting to breakdown the zone.
  12. I agree, look at Murphy, Yetna prior to the injury. We could be better with someone else however way better chance we would be worse. I don’t want to take that chance.
  13. Getting 5 points by the first tv timeout is not a good omen. It seems line we shoot more air balls than most, wonder if anyone keeps track.
  14. We struggle in the sports without a ball as well, came in dead last in cross country in the conference championships in 2019, both men’s and women’s.
  15. Even one man short you shouldn’t lose by a touchdown
  16. The only saving grace is I couldn’t give a flip about those sports, probably need to drop soccer anyways to save some money. Need a big W today in hoops though!
  17. It was DePaul’s old gym when they can’t use the Rosemont center, we paid I think 40K, huge comeback of like 24 points in game 1 of the tournament. My buddy is a DePaul alum so I made some cash on our best of 3 championship. Kinda sad but that and the 1990 conference tourney championship is all we got.
  18. The memories will last a lifetime, it may not have been the big dance, or the little dance, but we still danced.
  19. You got no money and you got no car, then you got no women and there you are
