I agree that a major issue on offense is the run offense design. We are just running straight into the line and getting into 3rd downs over and over.

Also, JK saying the honeymoon is over with Golesh doesn't make sense to me.  I hope Golesh is not listening to this stuff.

On the road uniform debate, I think the ultimate classic USF look is the green pants, white jersey, and gold helmet which we refuse to do now.

Given his past reactions towards the media, I think he is fine.

Also, what a weird thing to try and spin? The seasons not over, at least wait until the end of this season.

With a looming reality due to several lawsuits, power conference schools may soon operate under a new governance structure. What would it look like?

In an interview that aired Sunday on "Meet The Press," Baker, in his ninth month as NCAA president, alluded to the creation of a new model for “50-70” programs that are “dramatically different than the rest.”

“I do believe five years from now that we will be at a point where we are sharing revenue with student-athletes,” Evans told leaders of the Knight Commission, a group of mostly former and current college athletic administrators promoting educational reforms in college sports.

“To think we are not going to be sharing some of those revenues… we are going to be there. It would not surprise me to see some sort of different type of governance structure in place that separates the A5 out from the current structure.”

***When I read this and the talk of separation of the A5, it reminds me that if we have a chance to go to the A5 (2PAC) we should do it.  Any chance to move up should be grabbed.  It's the only A5 with vacancies.

    Two things:

    1. The “difference” between those schools and the others is a manufactured idea pushed by the schools

    2. The top 50-70 schools would be included in the p4 conferences if they went 18 teams each.

It would be to our benefit that this doesn't happen within the next two years. Getting the OCS construction going, compete for AAC titles in both men's basketball and football, and being ranked in the top 25 would be helpful to our case when the AAC or Big 12 look for replacements.

If it happened right now I would be worried that Memphis, Tulane, Boise State, WSU, OSU and San Diego State would be ahead of us.

I mean, State of Florida is always a good market to get into.

It also depends on how much other conferences value western expansion.

About as defeated as I have seen him

I think he is realizing the extent of the defensive struggles

I mean it seems we have gone backwards on defense this year if that is even possible. We are breaking records for points allowed, yards allowed

That being said we are showing some flashes of improvement here and there. There were some solid stops in each game at critical moments. But we can't put it all together.

He has to get better at play calling but candidly maybe if the runs up the middle actually gains 2 or 3 yards vs 0, then it's a non issue.

I think he is using words like "maturity" as like a sub word for talent. He will never be like deion and just throw players under the bus but I think if we read between the lines he is literally saying we are not there yet and subtly saying we need raw skill and talent upgrades across the board.

I'm still with this team, I think we can take Charlotte, I hope the staff all comes back next year, and I do believe we are seeing the green shoots of better days

Just think of CJS ran an offense as quickly as CAG, we probably would have seen this many points or more scored on us.
