An ACC without the North Carolina teams? That would be almost as preposterous and stupid as USC and UCLA to the Big 10. Or WVU to the Big 12. Or Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC. Oh, wait...
Yes, it would be preposterous. More so in my mind because I have never cared about the SEC or Big Whatever conferences. I have always liked the ACC and USF's current conference. Those others don't mean much to me. Guess we'll see what happens...

That is exactly it. ACC teams would look to move somewhere else much like the four teams in the PAC12 rumored to be going to the Big12.
That would suck. I can't even imagine an ACC without at least UNC, Duke, NC State, and Wake Forest. If those teams leave then there will be no ACC in my mind. Way too much tradition would be lost.

(My) Dream conference.
I grew up in North Carolina until I moved to Florida in the 6th grade. I was a huge N.C. State fan because my dad got his degree there, and as a consequence I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the ACC. USF in the ACC would be so perfect for this old Bull.

Would anyone be upset if USF was brought into a P5 conference at an unequal payment compared to the upper tiers?
Not me. Plus, it would very likely be unequal to what the AAC pays.

The more games the merrier for me.

Tyler Harris put them on his shoulders. 27 points for him in the second half. Amazing second half for the whole team.

I still remember Chuck
I was lucky enough to play a pick-up basketball game at the old USF rec center with Chucky and... Charlie Bradley back in the day.

This is the engine of March Madness.
I would love a little taste of Madness from our Bulls this year, but frankly I'm just hoping for a fun Chuck Atkins night at the Dome tonight.

Almost to the point of not knowing USF "fans" from the trolls to our east.

Sadly, I can't attend tonight's home women's hoops game. PM me with your email address if you want 1 to 4 free tickets in section 211. Parking is free for women's games, so you don't need a parking pass.

When you're a "have" wins don't mean much.
In 2021, ACC teams got 36 million while AAC teams got......7. Stop kidding yourself.
Not sure I understand what you are saying. The "haves" don't care that much about winning?

This thread makes me wonder if fan, alumni, staff, booster, etc. feedback on the final stadium design(s) will be sought.

Well... The link I originally posted went to something else. It was supposed to be the link to USF Football "What's your best pickup line" post on Instagram.

We lost the game in part by the Technical foul in the 4th Q
How sad is that?
include the non foul call on Brito's probably easy layup but reversed on possession, and the wish and a prayer 3 to end the first half.
The ball did just not bounce our way tonight, and we will have to work our way back into the top 25
And way to many careless turnovers. And still could have won it.

Texas, Oklahoma to SEC in 2024, USC, UCLA to Big Ten. What’s Next?
Texas and Oklahoma are off to the SEC in 2024, and USC and UCLA are set to go to the Big Ten. So what’s next for college expansion?So... USF to the B12 or ACC?
"The Big 12 is insane for not grabbing USF to go along with the acquisition of UCF."
The SEC is nuts for not ponying up some of its cash to pay off whatever is needed for Clemson and/or Florida State to get out of their ACC deal.
That goes triple for North Carolina. That’s the one. That’s the dream of a whale everyone would love to land.
And then there’s the ACC. It had better find a way to put a ring on it and end this friends with benefits thing with Notre Dame as soon as possible, because once the lawyers and money men from other conferences figure out a way to pry the league’s members from the Grant of Rights deal …"

Harris was cooking tonight. The Memphis fan sitting next to me said he sure does miss that guy.
The refs were pretty much trash, but we lost mainly because of turnovers and Memphis just being a better overall team.
The best part of the night for me was seeing so many former USF men's basketball players at the game. The "regulars" were there, of course, but also BB Waldon, DoJo, and Jordan Omogbehin (a.k.a Omos of WWE fame). It was good to see Dobras smiling ear-to-ear as he was being honored on the court.
A big thank you out to my TBP club ticket benefactor. I was on the fence and going tonight, but this was definitely a good game to be down close to the court.
Go Bulls!

I believe USF will go to a different conference, but that discussion is ongoing in a different thread I think...
Just for fun, though, saying USF has gotten "passed" by other schools implies that USF was ahead of those schools at some point. You can definitely say USF is currently getting left behind, but we are still in the race and haven't hit the wall yet. And, anyway, USF will always be #1 in our hearts, right?

Also, if you look back at their schedule and count the number of losses that would likely be wins if they played today, the team is probably looking at a 20+ win season. Don't laugh! Go look at who we lost to and by how many points, and ask yourself if you'd pick today's team to win or lose. Chemistry is important in basketball, and it seems like the team has figured that part out.
