I think most USF fans and probably G5 fans are expansioned out at this point. I'm okay with where the American Conference is going, basically a Big East Light. We have credible teams in almost every sport across the conference, outside of the money its not that bad of a situation.

Probably better for the conference to have 4 ranked teams than to have 1 very good highly ranked team. And we still have Houston who is undefeated and only trouble spot left is a good Navy team. If they win out they will probably be top 10 - 15 and will still have 3 other top 30 - 35 teams that's not bad for our conference. I think that even if we lose a few head coaches we have the potential to have a couple top 25 teams going into next year with 3 or 4 teams sniffing around 30-40 range. As long as the P5 teams schedule our teams we have the potential to make a nice dent into this P5 propaganda machine. Now if expansion happens and the Big 12 takes two of our schools and we have to add a couple more G5 teams then we'll be right back where we were 2 years ago fighting for relevance again. But even then I think our conference has much more depth than we had when this whole debacle of expansion began 3-4 years ago when we were depending on conference USA teams to come in and hold their weight with the P5 conference...
