  1. I think it says a lot about the coaching staffs confidence in QF. Your comment gives me no hope for this season.
  2. OH, and WTF https://www.football.com/en-us/breaking-potential-big-12-expansion-plans-could-include-ucf-houston-cincinnati/ Please tell me this guy is a hack!
  3. Close, but no bowl 5-7. Sat., Sept. 5 Florida A&M WIN – If we don’t win by 3 tds, we are in trouble. Sat., Sept. 12 at Florida State Loss Sat.,Sept. 19 at Maryland Loss Fri., Oct. 2 Memphis Loss, my god what has happened to us that Memphis is not an auto-win. Sat., Oct. 10 Syracuse Loss Sat., Oct. 17 at Connecticut Win Sat., Oct. 24 SMU Win Sat., Oct. 31 at Navy Loss Sat., Nov. 7 at East Carolina Loss Sat., Nov. 14 Temple Win Fri., Nov. 20 Cincinnati Loss Fri. Nov. 27 at UCF Win, because it can’t happen three years in a row. Plus, because we will be 4 and 7 at this point, this WILL be our bowl game.
  4. I wonder what QF thinks about this? He is supposed to be our guy! If QF is our guy then AW will never see the field. if AW is our guy then QF will transfer beause he will never see the field. Great problem to have I guess. Next year we will have two junior QBs that are supposed to be THE GUY!
  5. And nobody's saying that USF IS being mentioned .... and the ones mentioning UCF on national sports websites and Midwest regional newspapers don't have any more insight, if any, into what the next expansion criteria will be than those fan blogs do. How do you know how much insight, or inside sources, anyone has? Because if they have sources, they will mention them in their writing, even if unnamed. If you've got any of those national sports websites or Midwest regional newspapers that cite sources within the B12 that say if/when they expand, UCF is one of the frontrunners for a slot, by all means link them. I know I am new around here, and don't want to make enemies, but I must have read about 10+ articles, national and regional, about Big 12 expansion and I noticed a few things. Yes, UCF is favored, by the media over USF and not by a little. 75% of the articles have UCF as one of the two expansion teams. I would say that only 5-10% even mention USF and when they do, it is the Big 12 expanding with USF and UCF, not USF over UCF. I could not find a single credible article that favored USF over UCF. This is sad, but it is what it us. I still think our market is the key, regardless of program results. I am not sure how a logical person could read these articles any other way.
  6. Hopefully the new coach will not want to change the offense again. Also sounds like this kid knows that Willie is on the way out, at least he can't come back and use that as an excuse to transfer.
  7. You wondered what we're doing. We're building new baseball and softball facilities. New football practice fields. A new arena and practice courts for basketball. Continuing to maintain one of the top collegiate golf courses in the nation. Tennis is coming up for a huge makeover. Tell me what you'd add to the equation to overtake Colorado State and Tulsa. And now #10 in number of patents issued. At one time I thought AAU status was something of a pipe dream, now it seems achievable. It all adds to the overall prestige of the school. Forgive my ignorance, but who actually makes the determination on AAU acceptance? Do we have to hit certain marks and the we are in, or is it a board opinion type decision? I'm on my phone or I'd put in some links for you. Hit up the AAU website and they lay out the criteria. Thanks, yea, we are not getting in. I spent 15 minutes or so reading other AAU articles, kicking out Nebraska? Syracuse leaving. Seems like this is a good 'ole boys club that wants to get smaller. Just looking at the list of members was pretty shocking. This seems like a club where being worthy of acceptance is not enough. Seems like we would need friends on the inside.

  9. Hello ALL! First time long time. Can't wait for football to start! I been following this thread for awhile and certainly think we can get it to 600 before the season starts. Just about my whole family are Bull's fans. I do think we stand a good chance of being included in the next P5 expansion simply due to our market size, which, in what I have seen, was the driving force behind what the Big 10 did. While I wish USF was doing better, it sure did not matter for Rutgers. Location, location, location, we have it and no matter how bad we are will change that. As far as UCF goes, blah, who cares what they do, we can't change any of what they have going on, good or bad.
