Following back-to-back wins over Iowa State and Baylor, FOX Sports' John Fanta has the Houston Cougars on top of his men's college basketball rankings.

Are we trying to speak this into existence? Have coaches left a school after only 1 year? Yes. But why are we worrying about that? Some of us are stuck on this train of negativity regarding USF athletics. I mean geez, another thread says let's enjoy the moment while it lasts, so let's do so. Today will be the first time in USF MBB history that we have ever been ranked. So let's enjoy our success w/o dwelling on negative possibilities. Some of ya'll need to go to church to work on your faith or read some Eckhart Tolle so you can learn how to navigate life on Earth more positively. Don't get me wrong, I worry, and I have fears....we all do. But stop trying to make your fears a reality.

It feels good for our team to not be learning a new offense or playing a new QB for once. We have ran through so many different offensive coordinators and QBs through the years. There is no QB competition for the first time since the QF era. We know who is #1. 

I am not sure why I thought Pryor's voice would have a high-pitched voice, but man he has a deep voice. 

Is it too early to call us winning a national title?

A majority of our recruits in the past 7-8 years have had multiple p5 offers. We also had a plethora of p5 players from the transfer portal these past 7-8 years. We just never seem to develop our players or pick the right transfers.

Besides my "un-duh-feeted" chants, I feel I look at the potential of our teams from a logistical perspective. It's just our teams and coaching staff pretty much just underachieved these past few years.

Awww thanks Puc. Being a New Orleans Saints fan, Miami Miami Heat fan during it's expansion era, I have a 35+ years of being a fan of bad teams. lol

Look at BB right before he started Spring camp his first year and now. We made fun of "grit scores", but this is how it usually results. 

Here is a NIL deal with BB, Sean Atkins and Neim.

I agree. The Rosenhaus brand should be able to get him $$$ in any market. BB is a nice kid with a cool and humble personality that is very marketable. BB looks like he loves Tampa and acknowledged that his goal is to make the 12-team playoffs. If he was to leave us, it would have to be a playoff contender at minimum. I also don't see him leaving unless he does so as a Grad transfer.
