I thought I would start the transfer portal thread. Last year we had 18 incoming transfers and 24 outgoing. The smaller amount of portal action shows that we have more stability as a team and the incoming freshmen are pretty good. Anyway, keep an eye out for this guy. For all you Deon haters this will be a little "get back" should he transfer here. Supposedly he was a DVD recruit when DVD was at UM.
Incoming Transfers 1 Jack Wilty (OL) 2 Brent Austin (DB) 3 De'Shawn Rucker(DB) 4 Langston Long (DB/LB) 5 D'Marco Augustin (DB) 6 Kajuan Banks (DB) 7 Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen (WR) Outgoing Transfers (17) Comment New School 1 Stantavious Smith (DL) I no longer on the roster. Not sure why he would transfer. He has all of the opportunity. 2 Yusuf Terry (WR) Big surprise, but I guess that means we have better receivers. 3 Keeon Terrell (OL/DL) The writing was on the wall 4 Junior Uzebu (OL) Weird 5 Khafre Brown (WR) Whatever 6 Gerard Edimo (TE) No comment 7 Drew Perez (OL) No comment 8 Jayden Curry (DB) No comment 9 Michel Dukes (RB) No comment 10 Brian Norris (LB) I wish him well 11 Derrell Bailey Jr. (OL) No comment East Tennesee State 12 Javohn Thomas (WR) Good talent, I hope he finds a landing spot. 13 Lloyd Summerall Was not impressed JMU 14 Jameel Sanders (DB) No comment 15 Will Jones II (DB) No comment FAMU 16 Gerry Bohanon (QB) I wish him well and hope if he ever gets into coaching he comes back to USF. BYU 17 Zach Perkins (OL) No comment Hampton University PWOs Caysun Kinghorn (PWO) OL Ryan Warren (PWO) OL Kody Black OL - 1

Players who look like they got bigger. Ben Knox (1) looks like Ben Know has surpassed 196Ibs. Jarvis Less (28) looks like he has surpassed his weight of 173Ibs. Maybe 180.

It’s funny that some of us thought we lose the coach and the whole team would follow. Turns out they just left him. Now do you think CAAR saw this coming? You think he had to right? At the same time if he knew this was coming and he did in fact get interviews, did he get any offers? And if he did, does he regret staying now?
CAAR took a whole team with him to USF. He understands the game. Besides no we have room for a 4/5 star player in Knox

Updated Roster with Gisotti and Wilty added. One thing I did notice is that this team is old now. We have 16 seniors, 11 Graduate Students, and 23 Juniors. That's about 50 players that have been in college for at least 3 years.

Added OL transfer from Colorado today Jack willy.
I'm not sure if this is good or bad. That o-line at CU was bad. But "In 146 pass attempts that he blocked for, Wilty did not allow a single sack on the season." brings me hope.

I feel Doug Blue-Eli is going to get drafted. He is definitely putting in the work in the weight room. Last year he came in looking puffy and finished camp in better shape. Now they said he is up 322 from 320 Ibs but still looks much slimmer. Even though he came from TCU he pretty much had a tougher road to where he is at than even Sean Atkins.
"He committed to Delaware State as a high-school junior, but said that offer was pulled at the last minute and he had no other options. He went the junior-college route in January 2020, just in time for COVID. He became a junior-college All-American in 2021 at Monroe College in New Rochelle, N.Y., before accepting an offer at TCU. Blue-Eli played in just four games and preserved his redshirt as the Horned Frogs made the College Football Playoff championship game. The fit never seemed right, though, so Blue-Eli was on the move again and he has found a home at USF."

I think this is the dumbest idea, b/c why bother attending college if they become paid employees? Work study for an average college student is 10-15 hrs a week. You might as well make a minor league like baseball and let them go straight out of high school. The logistics of it all are dumb. An average CFB already gives up 12-15hrs hours of his life daily. That's 70-75 hrs per week dedicated to football and school. If I'm a full-time paid employee then why bother going to school?
This is a CFB player schedule

I thought Dwayne Boyles was done after last year? He played for another college last year or did he sign with some nfl practice team/minor league football deal? Do you think Prime would allow Weaver and Horne to claim usf over prime university?
Boyles ran out of eligibility. He didnt get drafted by the XFL

If I want to watch minor league football I can watch the usfl or xfl. This idea is horrible.

Stupid question OTD - I see refs at practice. Who are these officials? I wouldn't even know how to look that answer up. Are these conference officials and this is what they do when they don't have games? Are they local (HS) officials making money on the side?
I think that would be an AWESOME idea to use high school refs so that they get experience working with college athletes. But I have no answer.
