Buddy's film is actually pretty nice. I can't confirm he has 4.4 speed, but he definitely has 4.6 speed or better from watching the film. He returns punts/kickoffs and I think can play safety. He might be the next Sean Atkins. Not in terms of style of play, but walk-on who eventually gets a scholly and kicks a$$  afterward.

Only 4 teams had a winning record last year. Out of those 4 teams, 3 of them will be in the early stages of a new Head Coach or starting QB transitioning into their role. We might be able to catch them before they get into their rhythm. Memphis is stable AF. I can't hate on them. But like any team on that list that beat us last year, we are familiar with all of the remaining teams except Bethune.

An analogy for this is relationships. We've been dating all of these coaches we've had. We mostly break up with them because we always thought we deserved better. Maybe a better term would have been overall paranoia of our fans.

I think scarred from our lack of success, bad coaching hires, recruiting, and player development.  Many probably feel we are cursed and if anything good happens, bad will follow......I guess like you say, there is a lot of paranoia. So we are scarred and paranoid....."scarranoid"

I don't think it's that simple that other schools see USF's record and toss 7 million at whoever is coaching it.  Perhaps I'm naive.

I feel this is how it's going to be for a while. Any time we have success, a post will pop up asking if a player will transfer out or our coach will be poached.
