On paper this our deepest and most talented team since Strong 's first year. New recruit has elite speed.  You can never have enough elite speedster. Not much info on him anywhere. Hope it works out.

Buddy's film is actually pretty nice. I can't confirm he has 4.4 speed, but he definitely has 4.6 speed or better from watching the film. He returns punts/kickoffs and I think can play safety. He might be the next Sean Atkins. Not in terms of style of play, but walk-on who eventually gets a scholly and kicks a$$  afterward.

  2. New "playa, playa" for this season. He claims 4.4 speed and a 44-inch verticle.

  3. The Football Gods shall bless us in 2024. Un-duh-muutha__________feeted!!!! :04-rock:

Only 4 teams had a winning record last year. Out of those 4 teams, 3 of them will be in the early stages of a new Head Coach or starting QB transitioning into their role. We might be able to catch them before they get into their rhythm. Memphis is stable AF. I can't hate on them. But like any team on that list that beat us last year, we are familiar with all of the remaining teams except Bethune.

    2024 USF football schedule

    • Aug. 31: vs. Bethune-Cookman - W
    • Sept. 7: at Alabama - W - New Head Coach
    • Sept. 14: at Southern Miss - W
    • Sept. 21: vs. Miami - W - New QB
    • Sept. 28: at Tulane - W - New Head Coach & New QB (Decent transfer though)
    • Oct. 5: Off - W
    • Oct. 11 (Friday): vs. Memphis - W - Stable AF but we are familiar with them
    • Oct. 19: vs. UAB - W
    • Oct. 26: Off - W
    • Nov. 1 (Friday): at Florida Atlantic - W
    • Nov. 9: vs. Navy - W
    • Nov. 16: vs. Charlotte - W
    • Nov. 23: vs. Tulsa - W
    • Nov. 29/30: at Rice - W

Save $12 million.  His stats are not great and they probably can get a cheaper player to generate that output.

The Chiefs are releasing wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Wednesday.

He can come to my 2 favorite teams - New orlean saints or the Miami Dolphins.

Besides Seth and Willie, who else left us behind for better opportunities, leaving us in a worse situation? We've fired everyone else.

An analogy for this is relationships. We've been dating all of these coaches we've had. We mostly break up with them because we always thought we deserved better. Now that we're in a solid relationship and things are going well, we're not confident enough in ourselves and what we can bring to the table to know we deserve the girl. We lack such confidence to believe that anyone who would to stay with us for the long haul and wake up everyday worrying she is going to leave us for the next rich guy with the nice car. We deserve to have the 10, we need to start acting like it and stop being so afraid of being alone. For some reason, we have this undeserved PTSD of being abandon, when in reality, it's not really happened with the exception of Willie, really...

Wow! Are you a relationship expert in real life? Great analogy!!! lol

Scarred from what? Willie ..... ? We really haven't had the opportunities other than him to have any successful coaches from the big 2 sports poached. Not sure one coach could scar a fan base .... although some of you did take it pretty hard.

Maybe a better term would have been overall paranoia of our fans.

I think scarred from our lack of success, bad coaching hires, recruiting, and player development.  Many probably feel we are cursed and if anything good happens, bad will follow......I guess like you say, there is a lot of paranoia. So we are scarred and paranoid....."scarranoid" :)
