  1. 1. I think we can do better. 2. From a PR perspective it shows the world that our players are P5 worthy. 3. I look forward to who ends up replacing them. If I like a player then I'll root for him at his next destination. Growing up in Miami and going to UF, I was in the same social circle as a lot of the athletes. I've had friends who blew their opportunities on the FB team, friends who was going to free agent camps. I have a buddy that went from barely staying on an NFL roster to becoming a general manager for an NFL team. These players are real people. They all have different stories behind the scenes.
  2. With the money they made, they were happy with their decision and supported their FRIENDS who stayed on the team. I think they even went to the bowl game. 1 just signed an NFL contract, the other has an opportunity to have a better year. Some of ya'll have too much bitterness in ya heart
  3. No Im just one who is grateful for his contributions and moving on. Having bitterness is pointless and a waste of energy. When our players transfers to P5 schools it simply lets the world know we have quality players. Also I felt we can do better than him. He was just unable to get sacks. So Im happy Pettus who I think is waaaaay better will get his snaps. Hell I felt Jonathan Ross should have started over him last year. Glass half full my friend.
  4. You mean his FIRST game back from a SEASON ENDING INJURY?
  5. He did not get beat a lot. I barely remember him giving up any sacks. Plus this year he came back from an injury. Hands down one of our best tackles.
  6. I mean if your chances to make the NFL are slim, then get your money your last year of football. .
  7. I mean he is good, buuuuut lets be real, he isnt really getting sacks. I mean Jonathan Ross came from the FCS Bowie State and got more sacks and TFLs than him coming off the bench. Im good.
  8. After disappointed one of the best if not the best CB ever, I question his level of confidence. I feel he comes to USF and DVD helps him develop with less pressure than living up to 5 stars at a P5. USF is a more lowkey move which I feel is probably what he prefers after playing for a team that has a spotlight on it 24/7 and a future hall of famer cb in Travis Hunter to make him feel even smaller lol They say Travis Hunter dominates all of the practices and never gets tired.
  9. Not everybody wants to play for a parent or uncle. Its not for the faint of heart People will always question if you earned it or is it favoritism.
  10. A 6'9, run a 4.8 40 yd and 300Ibs of muscle athlete. Not all athletes are the same.
  11. How about we stop only blaming the players? The coaches account for half the transfers b/c they are always seeking better players. So there is no loyalty on either end.
  12. At minimum you could of had him rush every punt or field goal. At 6'9 with a decent vertical, he could have blocked a few.
  13. Both of the his sons played well last year and have a whole season ahead. And there are multiple opportunities for CBs to play b/c you have to keep fresh bodies. CU defense and o-line sucked so anybody on last year's defense and offensive line needs to humble themselves.
  14. Its kind of a red flag if he disappointed one of the greatest DB to ever play the game, but Ill still take him.
  15. I heard Christopher Townsel in the portal. I had him at 2nd string. These new guys must be good.
  16. Not really, b/c It would make CJS and CAG look incompetent b/c they couldn't figure out how to use a 6'9, 300 Ibs of muscle player that runs a 4.8 40yd. Especially if he makes a roster.
  17. Gerry was getting better on the field, but his mentoring of BB was priceless. Even BB father stated that GB was a big part of BB's development.
