As a UCF fan I have overcome my bias and want to call it like it is. USF is a solid team and should be ranked in the top 20 in a sane and rational world. I’m sorry to watch you guys get screwed. Not cool.

College football is so up and down. You guys will be back up near the top of the conference again at some point. It is just a matter of time. As a UCF fan I am glad you are down. But unfortunately I will have to enjoy it for now bc it won't be forever.

Although I love watching USF shoot itself in the foot (UCF fan here), the more I reflect in this hiring issue I have concluded USF did nothing wrong here. The blame lies with Masiello. Leaking the hire prior to completing the background check was a mistake in hindsight but what proof is there that USF was the source of the leak? USF didn't prematurely pull the trigger like Notre Dame did with O'Leary. Pick up you chins bc you guys will be up in no time. This stuff is cyclical.

Watching you guys try to crap on UCf's win over a top 6 Baylor is just hilarious. I feel sorry for how pathetic you guys are. UCF beats two top 10 teams this year. You guys are whining trash.

This is so weak. Arguing that Tampa is better than Orlando by pointing to the highlights of other cities (St Pete and Clearwater) and pretending they are in Tampa. Tampa has no beaches. I lived in St Pete for three years and Tampa and St. Pete are complete different cities. The vibe, politics, everything is different. Actual Tampa is a slum. I loved St. Pete. The Gulf is beautiful but if you surf you can't live there. Tampa claiming St Pete and Clearwater is like Orlando claiming Melbourne, Daytona, Cocoa Beach. All these places have epic beach bars. I must say that in my opinion though Busch Gardens is better than any of the Orlando parks. Overall both are great cities and saying one is better than the other is lame.

I also posted this in the UCF board. I think this should be embraced and sanctioned by the universities. Each year there should a tire-slashing ceremony. The home team's AD slashes a tire of the visiting team's AD's car. This would be a cheap way of opening up the rivalry game each year.

I've had enough negative interactions with the fanbase from the previous meetings that I could easily write off UCF fans as savages: my friend and myself getting trash thrown at us walking by the student section, my car being pelted with burritos, RJS trashcans tipped and thrown. However, that was years ago, and I'm willing to rethink my position as the series has renewed. My brother goes to UCF and I had plenty of his friends from UCF over for New Years, all of which were pleasant to be around. On the other hand, there are still plenty of trolling d-bags at UCF, yourself being a prime example, that poison the fanbase. Since I was unfotunate enough to not be able to attend, and understandably biased from my previous experiences, I wanted to get a broader opinion on what the fanbase is like this meeting and the next, when I consider taking my daughter to the next game in Orlando. UCF and USF fans are exactly the same OP. They are all College kids from Central Florida with about the same sociological, geographical, and demographical backgrounds. To say one is worse than the other is coming from a place of bias. For every "UCF fans are animals" story I can give you one about USF. Quit being a crybaby begging for UCF hate stories.

I feel so bad for the OP. He wanted so badly to hear story after story of UCF fan atrocities. I know this crushes your wishes and expectations OP but UCF and USF fans got along great. They were commingling all day with no real issues. I was there for 6 hours and didn't see any poor treatment by either side. There was some good spirited booing etc but some of the stories USF fans told of UCF fans attacking children and gang warfare at the tailgate sound like the type of negative PR campaigns that politicians employ.

And you're not in county lockup right now? I don't buy a word of this ********. I have a 4-yr old daughter, I would never let someone YELL those things at my daughter. A roving pack of USF fans in trenchcoats were carrying chains, tire irons, dirks and shanks and were pushing down little children.
