There's nothing wrong with Skip supporting his new hometown team. You should be happy he's out there pounding the pavement to drum up support for the FootBulls. Closer ties with the Yankees organization should be a huge positive for all of USF sports.

Besides, the Yankees play some decent ball, or so I've heard, LOL.

I'm a huge Rays fan and on the field, cannot stand the Yankees. However, many members of that organization are a big part of the Tampa community and have been for a long time, including Mr. Steinbrenner (didnt he make some large donation to HOT and other places on campus) as well as all his other charitable donations in Tampa area. Plus, they are the spring training team in Tampa, so I dont have a problem with Skip hanging out with The Boss.

That being said, I hope the Yankees lose 100 games this season. lol
