We had a bad defense, they had an average defense with some bad moments. I'll take having a defense as bad as theirs was last year in a heartbeat.

If our defense averaged 26.6 ppg allowed we would have won about 7-8 games. I'm basing that off of the 5 games in which we failed to score over 26 points.

It’s hard to judge last year‘s offense  because the defense was so historically bad that the pressure on the offense  was incredible. He knew that if he didn’t score on every possession they had no shot win. So basically they had the mindset when they started the game that they were two touchdowns behind And most times it became reality by the end of the first-quarter

so a great offense  with a average defense will win most times in college 

when it looks like he’s going to have a totally new defensive staff

All they need to do now is recruit some defensive players especially on the D line and edge rushers

Hard to believe there isn't a nutrition person in football staff. Pretty sure basketball has one.

tldr - He will help both MK and CAG be in 2 places at once and take stuff off their plates that aren't value added in their roles

MK can take off his plate the need to update CAG on the nitty gritty and take follow ups back etc, and likewise coach can take nitty gritty ops stuff off his plate.

Most if not all strong programs seem to have a Chief of Staff
