Problem with getting other G5 coaches is they might be able to just go to a p5 team so why go to another G5 team.

Might have to follow the model that's worked with UCF.  Former p5 coach that was fired for unrealistic expectations of winning....or top ranked OC from a high power P5 offense.

Helton from App State, Simmons from Famu, Dan Mullen ( a guy similar to freeze that needs to rebuild his imagine in an environment with less pressure) , and, Alex Atkins ( FSU OC), Art Briles, and Tony Scott would be my picks . Obviously bringing Leavitt back would be my main pick but it is very unlikely to happen.

I don’t disagree with that, but there’s zero reason to NOT be aggressive.

Make sure they are actually the offensive coordinator this time and not a glorified title like co-oc for wr coach.

Yea...they have to be the actual OC.

I do hate a former OC has to learn to be on the job a head coach for a bad team again....ugh.

I don't disagree there... but it also has to pick it's targets carefully.

This is not the case of going to the bar and asking every attractive girl to dance.

Selective aggressiveness takes time to cultivate.
