That 15% pay cut must have hit hard??   Hmmmm? I saw the topic heading and thought maybe he was selling his SC home which might translate into.....I found my home in Tampa! But?? Hmmmm again? The thick plottens around this situation???                  I did send him one of those USF boat fenders I had so maybe...?? since he has the boat fender he may want to buy a boat and live on the water??? 🤔      🚤

This is an interesting development. Maybe he's buying Gregory's house?

I am guessing it's a downsize thing. Property records are public. This house is massive and expensive. For 4 people, probably just looking for something more fitting for their situation.

15% of $1.8 mil is a pretty good chunk plus that has to be a hefty mortgage for a HUGE place for 4 people to live in.

Why invest a $20k/month mortgage payment when you aren't going to be in that property 3 years from now - either he is successful and someone hires him away or he craps the bed and he is fired. Apathetic mediocrity, which is a USF staple, is the only way he coaches more than 4 years here.

Market is at the top right now, he won't be here forever. Might as well rent until he leaves or gets fired.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
