Sorry to hear of his passing. Really admired the guy.  Shortly after his retirement I was at a Sixers game in the Spectrum.  Saw a guy standing by himself against the outer wall.  Went over to say Hi and he was as pleasant as could be. Best outlet passer of all time.  I can still see that 2 handed overhead pass to start a break.

Back in the day when I played (shortly after they removed the peach baskets from the walls and took the cages from around the court but when you could still call a team the Bullets) Wes was one of our idols.  Everyone tried to copy that two-handed overhead pass but no one could come close.

Agreed however maybe Cuz likes big guys in small shorts, I don’t judge.  The guy could ball and the overhead two hand pass was classic, however at 5’ 10” it never really did much for me.

I remember him. I lost my first bet when I took the SuperSonics to beat the Bullets back in 79. The guy was good and all but...

He was not flashy, game was boring and the NBA was on its way out, Magic and Bird saved the demise of the NBA.  He was kinda like Barkley without the attitude, the 70’s are forgettable in many ways.
