Went to his left a couple of times in the first couple of minutes but didn't see him finish with it.

Exactly - every drive left ended with a right hand layup or shot.  That is not uncommon for athletically gifted high school players

Once he learns to how to finish with his left hand, he looks like he could be a top player in the AAC

I guess I'm the outlier but I'm not seeing much here . I could totally be wrong this  is not my strong point . But I don't see him making others better and it looks like he played against the Washington generals in every game. On the up side he seems to have a healthy ego
