UCF athletic director Danny White offered a similar assessment, saying the absence of football would be financially "devastating."

"I don't know what would happen or how it would play out if we didn't play football this fall," White said.

His school could be hit even harder because they reside in a smaller conference and have to pay back a debt on the stadium.

"We've been in growth mode and are building things and trying to play catch-up," he said. "We have a small amount of capital reserves, but they aren't significant enough where they would be a solution if we can't make debt payments. We need to generate revenue from our football games to make the debt payments on our stadium."

OCS is only a small part. Most G5 programs are ****** if they don’t play next season.

Always liked that we played at RayJay anyway.  This is a financial liability that we don't need right now.

Guest Jonesy Bull

God help us all if this thing drags into the Fall.

It sounds like it could drag on longer than people think though - well into the Summer.

Yes, but it can only be sold for scrap in China at this point.

Stop trying to rationalize advantages to not having an OCS. It’s embarrassing playing with the Pirate Ship

The Pirate ship had nothing to do with the BULLS embarrassing play.

There's going to be a lot of money made in the days ahead.
