It happens every year (At least the last 9 years), HS bands from the area get to perform with HOT band.  So many bands from the area and their chaperones come to the game.   Usually a good turnout.

Very cool.  I was actually thinking you meant it would be a hot day that day, and the game was at night, so more people would come when it's cooler, and I was trying to be a smartass.  Instead, I learned something!

We used to sit in the section where they put all the kids every year.  One year, one of the chaperones confronted us about about where we were sitting (there were kids all over) and we forced to explain that we are here every week!

The guy gave us the evil eye the whole game and probably thought we were pedophiles. I guess I would want him chaperoning my kids on an outing but it was kind of hard to enjoy the game.
