valdez-Scantling, DJ and Harris were all cramps. Mack said he is fine.

This. Mack was kept out simply because we didn't need him. Refreshing to watch the back-ups put some solid drives together!

When I saw Valdez-Scantling being carted off, I knew it wasn't too serious because there was no wrap/boot/bandage and there was no one attending to him on the cart.  It was very disconcerting, though.

In another thread, there was an unofficial report he was dealing with a groin injury - before tonight's game.

Depth at RB & WR really showed. Nice to know it's there when we need it.

I thought our depth at DB was really impressive. 4th quarter cleanup duty with Ward and Godwin. Announcers said Godwin has most career tackles of any active player. I think Ward started in his freshman season. Nice to have that experience coming off the Bench.

Scantling looked fine. I was sitting right behind him and he was walking around, laughing and celebrating with the team on the sideline at the end of the game. 

 

Off topic, but thought I would mention how impressed I was with Flowers and Scantling. 4 young kids came down to our seats in the 4th quarter calling the players' names. Scantling & Flowers interacted with the young kids and even threw them some of their gear (gloves, USF towel & wrist bands). It was a nice gesture to see from these young men. 

Flowers was joking with the kids asking them how is performance was, good thing he directed that question to the kids. It's nice to see these kids have good hearts.

Yeah, I'm real nervous about Marlon Mack's situation.
