Harbaugh coming to USF again

This is a huge opportunity for us again to get a lot of top kids on campus. While Harbaugh is busy talking to the elite players, hopefully we can make a strong pitch to some of the good 3/4 star guys. It's even better because now we can sell success.

I vaguely recall them snagging a recruit out from under us last year. Might have happened, anyway, but still. I guess we wouldn't do it if it didn't work, but this still makes me uneasy.

If we could transition this opportunity into a game with Michigan, I would feel much better about it!!

Our players and local talent get veteran-NFL-quality instruction, and all while being on our campus. Harbaugh's no dummy with this FL camp and the TX (Baylor) camp, but then Briles and Taggart aren't dumb either, and I think CWT is a pretty solid spinner for USF. Yeah, I'm still good with this until the NCAA shuts it down.

They actually didn't get anyone from us last season.  We almost got a guy who Michigan dropped late in the recruiting process (which actually ended up being discussed on espn and questioned Harbuagh's tactics)  but he elected for Penn State instead.  That could be what you're thinking of.

I know this will play dividends with the type of local player that we recruit, but I'd love to get to a point where I feel less like a remora feeding off the belly of a Michigan shark.

I might be crazy. I looked back and don't see any actual record of it, so I could just be misremembering or maybe Michigan recruited but didn't snag the person I was thinking of. In any event, this whole deal still makes me uneasy. Maybe just the feel of it. Who knows, I am far from an authority on this.

Harbaugh gonna be in Florida no matter what. Might as well have him on our turf to keep an eye on him.
