I'll take FSU. I get the feeling no one cares about the AAC inside or outside of the conference. I'm good with FSU and Second place in conference to someone who isn't UCF.

Nothing in poll was mentioned about 2nd place or who the conference winner would be if it wasn't us .... Maybe Brad should have been more specific.

I don't think it has to be more specific -- it just says win the conference or win against FSU. If we don't win the conference, then any other place is up for grabs. We're operating in pure hypotheticals. If you'd be okay with a scenario where we beat FSU and took a place other than First place (which would include second place), then your answer is that you'd rather beat FSU. The phrasing of the poll question actually does the work for you.

The parameters are "beat FSU" or "Win AAC".

What would a win over FSU do? It'd make for some blind-pig-and-acorn conversation for a week...then we're done.

What would a win over FSU do, were we to finish mid to lower conference? Nothing.

What would happen if that win over FSU were the only win this season? Certainly not save Taggart's job and would

probably have absolutely no impact on season ticket sales next season. Not saying that finishing mid-to-lower tier would

save his job and bump season ticket sales either. Just saying that a win over FSU is just one more upset. And you can't

live off of upsets.

Conference Championship! As others have posted, it means sustained season long success and would signify that the program has turned around.

it makes it even simpler when you realize that winning the AAC is a pre-req to getting into one of the big bowl games as the top G5

We kinda expect the loss to FSU anyway, but really the AAC is not unrealistic and it's something we sorely need on our resume.

I voted to win the conference as well.  We've gone the route of winning "big" non conference games.  And that never really worked out well long term.  I'll take the title even though UConn won it one year and it didn't zippo for them.

It got us on the map...and it worked out extremely well in terms of attendance.

I'm afraid, winning the AAC doesn't get you on the map outside of Tampa-Orlando.
