  1. I agree with all of this; except: His first season was very strong; but, the play style was visibly weak on the field. It seemed very low effort from the beginning of his tenure.
  2. Please, let it be! November? That's torture... Meanwhile, I have to hear about the renderings for Memphis, Kansas, and Charlotte...
  3. Let's make it happen. It's funny seeing central florida twitter folks rage out over rumors of USF in a new conference.
  4. I am okay with no FAU... I would rather have UCONN and UNLV
  5. NCAA Finances: Revenue & Expenses by School - USA TODAY SPORTS.USATODAY.COM Which are the most profitable college athletic programs in the country? See a ranked listed, including total revenue and expenses. Brought to you by USA TODAY. Are you sure about that?
  6. I am hoping that Golesh is great enough to suceed; and IF hired away. USF can finally pick the RIGHT coach to follow up. This program (albeit young) has never been able to string consecutive successful coaches.
  7. This is a wild take... College Football is much different from the 90s... Disney/Fox have corrupted the sport. Here a clue: In the last few rounds of realignment... when has a school moved up without an OCS?
  8. USF needs to build that stadium. Apparently, re-alignment is never over. Everyone assumed that the PAC 12 was fine just two years ago. The ACC may be next. Build the stadium, or just fold the program. Why half-ass it?
  9. Man, I could see the PAC 4 bringing in MWC and AAC teams... And if we get left out again... missing a 3rd round of realignment would hurt... right in the soul.
  10. ACC would have to open up their GoR... and with that FSU and Clemson would leave. They may probably sit this one out. Either way, USF has the opportunity to make itself a prime target. We just need to win (and build that **** stadium).
  11. USF was mid in the Big East... Hate to say it, but it's true. We were never close to winning the conference & we never made a BCS bowl. Our best "record years" were under Taggart...In the "lesser" conference. But, the weaker conference (and less money) did HURT. Our competition meant fans didn't show up. Heck, with less money coming in, USF academics AND the local Tampa newspaper constantly question investment into our athletics. So, the money and better in-conference match ups... makes a huge difference. Even when we were middle of the pack.
  12. While I don't disagree... This is the new sad state of NCAAF. It's a race to the top, and the top 50 programs have had a large headstart. I hate that USF is on the outside looking in... Cincy in the Big 12; and even UCONN is in the convo to make the jump to the P5.
  13. That sounds nice and all... but a consistenly losing team, can have a one-off good year. I mean, USF showed a spotlight with Taggart, and then fell to the bottom to this day. All the teams you mentioned are absolutely enjoying that bigger P5 money.
  14. When it comes to money, it makes a big difference. Even the bottom dwellers in the top tier can afford nice facilities and easily featured on ESPN/CFP rankings if they show a spotlight of success. Example: A 7-2 USF and a 7-2 Rutgers... Guess who will get all the attention.
  15. I think that both Houston and Minnesota have their cities Mass Transit rail lines actually connected to their OCS.
  16. This is good... let UCF continue to make cheap mistakes on their football amenities. I am just hoping that our plans come to fruition correctly.
  17. I just completed this quiz. My Score 66/100 My Time 326 seconds
