He's still a recruit until he steps foot on the field in my opinion.
-
He ain't going anywhere. Half his posse is committed and the other half about to. He is part of the reason they are coming in. No more Nervous Nelly talk.
He would certainly piss a lot of people off if he left and pretty much repeat the Team Tampa incident.
-
Or maybe I'm just overly paranoid and still butt-hurt from the whole Ass-iantii Woulard ordeal...
-
Maybe I'm just a glass half-empty Negative Nancy but this did not sound good to me "@CL14_: Well that shakes things up a bit ... congrats USF on the commitment."
-
I'm just saying it might loosen his commitment if we got another top-notch QB in the stable. The guy wants to start and, if there is a legitimate chance that he won't, he may opt to go to a school where he has the best shot at seeing the field.

Wow. That's really cool that he's still considering USF pretty strongly.
A while ago I sat down and took a look at all of the quarterbacks that had been talked about around here as potential recruits. I never in a million years thought USF would get both Tyler Harris and Chase Litton because they're too similar in quality and style...but they were the top two quarterbacks in my eyes. And that included guys like Sean White and Michael O'Connor, Wanky Flowers and Alin Edouard.
What a coup it would be to pull both guys in. I love Chase Litton but I like Tyler Harris just as much. Reminds me of Jay Cutler.
If Harris committed I don't know if Litton would stay committed. It looked like Litton was going to look elsewhere when Flowers committed to us. Flowers left then Litton immediately hopped aboard. I don't think he's a fan of competition, especially from a comparable QB.
I'm not sure I really see any basis for this. What exactly made you think he had scratched USF off the list when Wanky Flowers committed? All indications are the Flowers episode actually sped Litton up on his timeline.
You could say that's because Flowers decommitted, but Flowers isn't really out of the picture even now. He may have pulled off his initial commitment because of his brother, but he's still got USF on the mind and hasn't committed anywhere else.
He intimated "Well that changes things" on twitter once Flowers committed. I wouldn't even call it an intimation. It was rather obvious that he was going to look elsewhere.

Found the WR...STRONG, and impressive bio.

I don't see him on recruiting sites, so maybe he's a sleeper, or doesn't rate as high with the "experts". I'm sure he gets scouts, by virtue of the attention Harris gets.
He was class of 2013 and already signed his LOI with Valdosta State.

The article also stated the he was visiting several other schools so we can't get our hopes up too high just yet.

The kid is a game-changer. This would be absolutely huge for us and our upcoming season! Doesn't sound like he's been accruing any rust during his time off either. Might have a great shot at beating Louisville this year if he comes aboard....

Time traveler too, visited Nebraska on 9/7/13 lol (I am sure they mean 7/9/13)We just offered him, but it looks like he has all but committed to Nebraska:

Is there any indication that we are actually in the running here? The timing is very odd, maybe the coaching staff knows something the media doesn't...
He probably has a trip planned in September. Sometimes they show future dates.

We don't want anything to do with Texas anyway....
-
Why isn't it letting me post images??
-
Watch him pull a fast one on everybody and commit to us...

Now that Michigan got a commit Down to 3 school UCF Florida Clemson.

I HAVE A FEELING HE WILL BE A BULL
Based on what??
-
WTF does he need to bash somebody else in the head with a freakin bottle for?
Must be more to the story than what's in that article...
That's how they say "hello" in Nebraska!
-
Looks like scout leaked it before the announcement.

He chose USF!

Alabama should hang tampons around their locker room. That would be more fitting of the "Crimson Tide".
-
As a graduate from Choctaw, I can testify that the west coast of Florida has a ton of overlooked talent. Good to see Taggart expanding the search!
-
Pretty sure ESPN said that he had an offer from LSU.
Edited to add link: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/164057/chase-litton
TBT reported it too...

Grades might be an issue... Although he states he has a 2.8 but we don't know what he made on the SAT. I find it interesting that he decommits from Florida around the time he would recieve his test scores. Looks like he probably failed Spanish too and I believe USF requires two years of a foreign language. There might be some flexibility in the requirement if he agrees to take foreign language classes at the college level but the academic committee has been pretty strict as of late though.

One question: Why wouldn't the media be all over this if he really was in Louisville right now??? He certainly got a lot of media coverage when he visited us and when Louisville, Arkansas, TCU, and Marshall "so-called" turned him away... The same with the supposed Miami visit...
