I believe he considered us throughout each transition.
-
Would this be the third time he has passed us up? First after he left Florida, second after he left Auburn, and now. Let me know if my memory serves me wrong.
-
I just wish there had been an officially announced day that Dyer was going to announce where he's going, so that the day before it I could declare Dyer's Eve.
I agree. This has been drawn out long enough!
-
Haha! That's a way to transition back to the topic.
-
I have higher hopes with Mike White than I do with Bench. I think initially experience will have the edge over talent though. But looks like we are getting a little off topic on the Dyer thread.
-
Wonder if Lville is doing on reviewing his transcripts. I don't know about now, but (in my old man voice) in MY DAY, not everything transferred and transcripts underwent scrutiny. But since I suspect he's more focused on the NFL than a diploma (my pure guess), may not be an issue.
How could you question whether his classes would transfer? After all he got an AA from the prestigious Arkansas Baptist College run by that amazing student role model Fitzgerald Hill.
They only have a 102% acceptance rate but then again you never know because 134% of the population tends to exaggerate...

I think Pierre has a chance to be the featured back by the end of the year. Much more impressive then Shaw during the Spring Game.
One of the freshmen RB's could also come in and play lights out too... We just don't know yet. But I agree that Shaw has been lackluster as of now. But, who knows, maybe he can finally break out of the mold of mediocrity this year...

I guess we didn't give him a "commitable" offer...
-
Well, you are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. If I were a betting man, I would make the gamble that some have lost respect for him. Vincent Jackson being incredulous over the situation and others stating they are committed with or without Litton tells me they no longer care where he goes. Personally, if I saw somebody publicly endorse something then do a complete 180 I would think that person is full of ****. Which is excatly how I feel about Litton. But if you want to keep playing devil's advocate go ahead..
You're talking awful tough about a kid that isn't even a senior in high school. But hey if that's your thing...
Sometimes it is necessary. But hey, if you would let me know what age it is acceptable I will make note for future reference. Thanks!

Not close enough to the recruits to know, but the few tweets we're seen here were more along the lines of "He's doing his thing, but we're as committed as ever".
And how in the world does anyone read those and say, "They've lost respect for him"?
I hope that's a rhetorical question to me, because I never made that leap. As far as I can tell, the others are unaffected by Litton's decommit.
Or they no longer care.

I'm still of the same opinion I was months ago. If you can bring in Tyler Harris, Chase Litton, or somehow both of those guys...I think you've done well. Not too sure about McGough though.
Given that Litton is now up and the air and all sides might be a little sour over what happened there, if they reeled in Tyler Harris in his place then I account it no sin. That guy is really good. Reminds me of Jay Cutler.
Even if Litton decides to stick with the Bulls, I think some of his "homies" may have lost all respect for him. I say Tyler Harris all the way!
That's a poor assumption, IMO.

I wouldn't expect any recruits to drop off from the Litton situation. Sounds like on twitter that current commits didn't have a huge amount of respect for Litton to start with.
-
Litton might be a decent athlete but he has a long way to go to become a decent person.
-
Wonder what changed his mind?
If not already, I think USF should rescind the offer. Instincts are telling me this is one to avoid.
He probably thinks he has a chance to go to UF.
-
We still have Mike White coming in who has a lot of potential so I'm not torn up over the situation.
-
Too much competition at the QB position would be my guess. Would be consistent with the Team Tampa incident also.
-
Sounds like he still has a lot of growing up to do...
-
Or Penn State...
-
This isn't the Catholic Church so I wouldn't think anything too profound...
-
The kid seems like he would be a locker room cancer with all the sour remarks and trash talking he has done lately. Might have the Keyshawn complex.
-
If he's 245, then I must be 280...
-
I would guess most of the recruits feel that way too...
-
I'm having to change my underwear twice a day with all the butt hurt from the past two years...
Michael Dyer- RB from Auburn

Yeah, I thought it was Dyer that committed to UF then chose Auburn but I guess I was wrong.
