  1. So your idea is to sit on our hands and hope we get picked up...No we have to make our athletics program more attractive to the ACC/Big 12
  2. So as you hopefully know by now USF was granted 30 million dollars for the Big East name. This in my opinion should be spent immediately on an indoor practice facility for the football team. I cant even begin to describe the recruiting implications this would have on our program as it would separate us from the states major football powers. You want a on campus stadium this is the gateway, win fill up Ray Jay and the OCS is ours.Your thoughts?
  3. And god said let there be an indoor practice facility and there was and it was great
  4. At best, the second part of your comment might be close to accurate in the most general of terms. The first part "stealing" is ridiculous. If you want to be angry at anyone for the loss of USF funds, it's the AD. Many coaches in college football steal their checks every year. One example of course is Mack Brown at Texas. I am almost positive I can go out into the jungle and find a monkey that could win 10 games at Texas every year. The man not only turned down Manziel but also RGIII and Luck. Holtz was gifted one of the fastest growing football programs in the country. All he did in his time here was run it into the ground. In our area, with our talent 3 wins is "stealing" your paycheck. The man did not do his job, did not coach the talent he was handed, and did not recruit the area. A terrible job from a terrible coach. People will be surprised with our success next year, I am not sure fans realize just how poor of a coach we had here. If a 3-9 year is all it took to run the program into the ground, the program wasn't **** to begin with .... which, of course, is absurd. The program's not been run into the ground. One of two things had to happen when Skip took over, get over the stagnancy hump the program had been in for years and win a conference title or drop off enough to go in a completely different direction, which is what happened. Even the haters can't deny that CJL was our "legend", and the guy following one usually doesn't fare too well .... even under the best of conditions, which we certainly didn't have. You can whine all you want about Skip being a terrible coach, but the fact remains that he succeeded as a head coach at both places he was at before coming here. Terrible coaches don't do that .... It didn't work out here for him here .... Get over your butt hurt. There was a point in this season I believe against Cincinnati where we scored a TD two minutes into the 4th to cut the score to 27-9. A two point conversion makes the game a two score contest a field-goal makes it a sure three score game. There was still 13 minutes left and possessions to be had, but yet out trotted the field-goal team for the XP. That was all I needed to see, I didn't need to meet the man, didn't need to speak with him, that was all I needed to convince me he isn't a man at all. He's a b!t$h, and his actions clearly demonstrate that. A man would have coached till the last whistle, Skippy gave up on this team and his job far before it was over. He will never be a champion, he would have never won big here, under any circumstances. He isn't a good coach, hes a daddy's boy who gave up when things got tuff, he quit on his kids, and his seniors......SHAMEFUL
  5. It is a good time to jump on the USF basketball bandwagon we have an absolutely beautiful stadium, and although this was a down year that place gets rocking when things are going right.
  6. The only thing Aaron Lynch fears is the wrath of War Flamingo

  8. We aren't a service academy that's a terrible comparison. Sign a local TV deal and book it game by game
  9. I think USF should do what almost nobody else is doing and go independent. It would be supper easy for us to schedule games we are in Tampa a destination capital. Conference prestige doesn't mean anything unless your in the sec. Sell kids on the fact that they will travel the nation playing the best. Risky move but the payoff could be massive
  10. This is the bulls athletics forum. I am simply expressing my opinion about a man who sucks at his job. U mad?
  11. Being a good person doesn't always make you a good coach. Plain and simple the man basically stole from our school and didn't do a thing to earn the millions we gave him. He won't be getting any pitty from me because he's sleeping on literal millions. Dadys boy can't cut it
  12. Personally I think our basketball program is going to do big things if we can be patient and continue to let heath build this program. Heaths system is meant to be ball controlling and run through a dominant big man. We have never had that type of presence I believe john ebagnu is that presence and will take us to the next level.
  13. I don't get why some of you hate War Flamingo so much. It's cool, and its the type of ridiculous that makes college football what it is. Almost every college football tradition is an adaptation of another so what's the big deal
  14. "He was a virgin until he was 27 and now....Stampede" Stampede>>Roll Tide
  15. You guys are so much FUN! Bet USF was a blast for you back in the 80's
  16. Seriously can't understand how this isn't a mainstay in our football program. I am all for War Flamingo and I actually find it pretty sad its not pushed more by our fans. One of our few claims to a tradition what do you guys think?
  17. fail believe i mistook WKU for a Miami of Ohio team
  18. No, never had the urge to drive to Kentucky. And that 'almost beat' from 2007, to me, a 49-3 arse waxing isn't 'almost'. Hey, If WKU had just scored one more field goal - doubling, tacking on a 100% increment of their offensive effort, can you imagine how close that would have been then! WKU would have only lost by a reasonable 43 points instead of an unreasonable 46. And given that Taggart, in 2007, was at Stanford University, how is it that anyone watching the Western Kentucky/Florida game was watching one of "his" teams? Just curious. Touche I was there didn't realize that Taggart wasnt the coach I just remember UF scrabbling the entire 1st half
  19. Lets just ignore the fact that he took charge of one of if not the worst program in D-1 football and had them beat an SEC team and in a bowl game last year. I saw WKU almost beat Florida live and in person a couple of years ago in the swamp. It was one of the most disciplined and well coached teams I have seen in years of attending big time college football games. This guy is as big time as it gets as a head coach we made a major steal in getting this guy, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him in the NFL very soon. Call it nuthugging or homerism if you want, but I call it like I see it. Have you ever watched one of his teams play in person?
  20. They call him the the Zen master if that isn't swag I don't know what is. Swag as I define it is justified and earned confidence. You earn it through dedication and hard work two things Taggart prides himself on. Excuse me if I am jumping the gun on this, but I am already on the Bus and believe in what this guy is doing. Come fall maybe you guys will start to believe, but I have seen this happen enough to call it when I see it. This won't take "time" we have the talent to win right now, and I won't be shocked like the rest of the country when we do.
  21. Lets just ignore the fact that he took charge of one of if not the worst program in D-1 football and had them beat an SEC team and in a bowl game last year.
