Of the 6300, how many died?

How many died?

This is not the worst team. I remember having Floyd and Eveld taking snaps. Opposing defenses were scoring more than our own offense.

I think McCloud is the best we have of what I’ve seen. I think the other QBs need more development. McCloud does too, but I think he’s the least likely to make mistakes. If Jeff Scott can get McCloud to release the ball sooner the passing game should pick up a lot. We also need a better O-line.

I think McCloud is our best bet.
None of the QBs are proven passers. -

So we won those games?
No, but they were low scoring close games where the kicker was the game winner. Frustrating is the word.

Outside of maybe 2010, the UConn defeats standout to me more for what USF did to lose those games as opposed to what UConn actually did to win them
One of those games Uconn made 3 very long field goals, I think two were 50 yards or more.

UCF had 11 or 12 false starts against Tulsa and lost. Also had one take them from the Tulsa 20 to the 40 on their last drive and they didn’t score.
They beat themselves.

How you manage the small things is how you manage the big things.
Discipline matters. -
We beat Cincy in every stat except the final score and a handful of rushing yards.

How do I watch this game?
do I really need an account for espn in addition to my cable account which is supposed to include, well espn?

For everyone who asks about what improvement we actually see, there’s the hard evidence.
This one has been an obvious difference.
-
The theory of prepping more for Cincy makes the most sense. But getting our our QBs game feedback might be more valuable for team development than an extra day of practice and rest for Cincy.

It was cancelled because 7 Notre Dame players tested positive for Covid-19 two days after playing USF. As a result, contact tracing needed to be performed and instead of risking the health of USF and FAU football players, who might be positive but not yet tested positive, the game was cancelled.
Notre Dame has paused all football related activities and took it so seriously they didn't reschedule their game against Wake Forest, scheduled for yesterday, for an open date both schools have available next weekend.
This was likely done in an abundance of caution, and administrators likely believe the risk wasn't worth the benefit. I doubt there was anything nefarious here.
The world has gone insane. That is all.- 1

We didn’t really cancel with having no positive tests did we?
Can anyone confirm if players tested positive or not?
Canceling FAU was extremely stupid and irrational unless players tested positive but it is being kept secret.
-
Why aren’t they using the quick tests?
Canceling this game seems irrational.

Completely Irrational.

If we went by the latest CDC data on risk, we wouldn’t even be testing players for covid, we’d just be playing football.

They’d have trouble getting separation in any top 10 team, even other top 10 teams do. That’s what having top athletes in the secondary does, and why you see LSU, Bama, etc. play man to man sometimes in big games. Their secondary can do it.

Interesting that the radio crew has said that the WRs are not getting separation down field. I heard the same thing last year.
I mean, ND secondary athletes will be among the best in the nation, our wide receivers, not so much.
-
We have improved in the discipline department. We have way fewer penalties. There looks like less tension between the players too.
-
The team has noticeable fewer penalties since Strong is gone.
-
Finally in the red zone!

McCloud needs to get rid of the ball just a little earlier. He does hold onto it even after it looks like he has found his guy.
