Not a bad rundown and agree w qbs.. I’d say one of CO or BK transfers and prob McCloud changes positions. That leaves 4.

the difference is .18 which comes down to one more three star player than us, they don't have any four stars or five stars, just more three star player. we beat that by getting three more players on the roster. the difference between a three star player and a two star players is pretty minimal in terms of impact. Stop looking for things to **** on.
I’m not blown away bc it hasn’t been overly impressive. Not pissing on it, it has just been a pretty average class. And 24-7 is prob more accurate and has us 4th fwiw. https://247sports.com/Season/2019-Football/CompositeTeamRankings/?Conference=AAC

Except they're not.
If their average player is rated than ours, they are out-recruiting us. If school A only has a few openings and takes 10 4*s and school B has 20 openings but takes 19 2*s and one 3*, school B will have the higher point total. School B did not out-recruit school A. Preface all of this that it’s rivals and 24/7 has a more accurate system, but I digress.

Yeah, I’m going to worry most about average recruit ranking, not getting 100 2* recruits. All that shows me is that Memphis is out-recruiting us...

Midway is the Walmart to O'Hare's Target. I think I got Hepatitis there. They have a ******* White Sox restaurant there.
I banged out the Weber Grill steakhouse while I was there, pierogis at a dive under an El platform, and an Italian beef sandwich. Also, I did a bit of work.
When we did the ND game a few years back, we flew direct from Sarasota into Midway.. got caught up in a ww2 honor flight ‘parade’ when we were heading to get the luggage.. incredibly moving, so Midway (hep and white Sox aside) has a special spot in my heart.

But if you're 19, you can't be expected to act like an adult and use mail and adhere to court ordered deadlines. Come on.
Next thing you know, people will have a problem with you driving 100mph down I-75 with an open container... fun police communist jerks!

Ok with this.. tough watching him out-coach us this year.

Ha.. this was a fun read.. gonna go ahead and place my vote in the stupid actions have consequences column.

At least 3 years, like any normal, college athletic program ... The 5 game losing streak was bad but ****, the ******* overreaction on here is hilarious.
The problem is that there is a not-so pretty trend.. maybe (hopefully) it was just the OC. We’ll see. With a much more difficult schedule next season, 5-7 is a distinct possibility.

I feel like I should be grateful for the news, but part of me really wanted to see if Strong had the stones to let him go.. I don’t think he did. Bowl game will be a great opportunity for King.

20 may not happen, but something in the ‘teens’ certainly could. We’re still prob a year away from really causing some teams trouble, but this team has impressed early.

Why aren't our facilities at or near the top of the AAC?
The game passed him by because he doesn’t have an IDPF.. duh

The line that kills me from this article:
How can upgraded facilities help you from being "passed by." What a load of BS.
Such a good point.. maybe it hurts with recruiting (it hasn’t).

Sr. Mayes or Jr. Norman is the youthful one?
Mayes and Norman lost playing time this year to younger players.

Examples?
The starting tackles, for one.. there was definitely a push for youth this season.

I didn't read the whole article until last night. This line stood out to me:
"They also think his loyalty to the men he recruited to coach might have gone too far,...."
It sounds like he was not so worried about the Jrs and Srs on the team. That would cause you lose 1/2 the locker room.
Think he was talking about the loyalty of the coaches, not the FR and SO. My take was loyalty in hiring coaches took precedence over hiring quality coaches.

Frankly, USF has done an overall pretty shoddy job of keeping alum and recent alum interest in the program. You have to consider the dagger that was getting left behind during realignment. We’re talking probably close to a 5-10k difference in attendance.
-
My thoughts: a)how the heck did nobody fact check Strong’s buyout up to this point? b) apart from the buyout being more $, there were no addtl details in that piece c) the athletic dept. can say they feel comfortable with strong, but this team is very likely to at least struggle w the non-conference portion of the season next year.. get ready for the sad attendance numbers and d) frankly, there are 2 issues that everybody wants answered; is strong and/Gilbert going. Strong appears to be a no, and nobody can answer about Gilbert.
-
I think Strong def returns but Gilbert does not; that is the safe bet.

A legitimate thread turned into std’s and jtrue shatting himself.. nice!

Gotcha my to have to score probably 38 to win this one? Just not convinced we can do that.
USF Recruiting? Yeah, pretty good...
