  1. Odd that none are available. I have seen the Oracle photographer around several times, and yet they continue to use pictures from last year (as seen in today's back page photo). I would imagine some would be easily available to the SID's?
  2. Oh most definitely -- looking sharp helps with pride in the uniform and the program. JoeB, I don't remember what we wore to St.Tims offhand, but yes I was a member of that group. I had a great time there.. thank you for the hospatality.
  3. We travel to JU Friday, the come back to the Red and play them Sat/Sun. //not quite sure why, though. Box score listed attendance as 623.
  4. I joined the event -- I'll definitely be at the game
  5. Thanks for the support. Knowing Walt & Dex would pick me up on the next DP makes it a bit easier to do my job.
  6. Sanford and Soares bickered about it for awhile.. I think it came down to whatever equipment Bubba wanted to give them!
  7. Daniel Thomas. Bunting is a big part of our gameplan, we just didn't execute tonight... when we can get it working, it's unbeatable.
  8. I know the BeefStuds and Rocky were there tonight... having the band would be great.
  9. We loved the attendance and support, but they were a bit quiet for our taste - we love when it gets loud! It can only go up from here, and we appreciate everyone who came out to the game tonight.
  10. I loved the attendance, but I agree with JoeB -- the fans need be rowdy! Great first step tonight.
  11. The 'vip' area down the line had 2 kegs, from what I saw.. which was for boosters of some sort, I believe.
  12. The players pitched in a few hours today getting the finishing touches put on Red McEwen... Believe me, everyone who has been to a game in the past will be amazed with the amount of work has went in to renovating this place. It looks great.
  13. The starting pitcher for Friday night went seven hitless innings, only one walk, before hitting his pitch count and being pulled. They only gave up two hits all game (and lost).
  14. Yeah, it's wait-list only now, they're having to make an effort so that players parents can get spaces at all...
  15. It's a few hundred... once renovations get completed in the next few years, we'll be able to seat far more than that.
  16. Haha, 75% of our games are at night, but feel more than free to enjoy a beer or seven.. Sunday games are all either noon or 1pm, so it will get a bit hot towards the end of the year!
  17. I have been told this year we're selling beer from the concession stands, but I don't have confirmation on that.
  18. Yes'sir, that is me.. everyone calls me Wags. We have scrimmages today, tomorrow, and Sunday.. so we keep a busy schedule, but hopefully I can answer any questions ya'll have.
  19. The BaseBulls have been getting out in the community quite a bit the past few weeks, with this being just one event raising awareness and goodwill. Many players also join Coach Lazer Collazo and others working with local little league teams to teach fundamentals and drills to players around the age of 12 (for a nominal fee as fund raising for the program). This can only help turn-out and support in the upcoming season, but also the years to come. There are already a number of upgrades being worked on at McEwen, with many more to come. We hope ya'll make it out to more than a few games this year!
  20. Names on jerseys is nice, but CLP doesn't believe in the individual, but rather the team... it only matters the name on the front, to borrow one of those movie one-liners.
  21. February 9th, my good man. First pitch versus High Point 6pm. Don't get discouraged about basketball yet, show some support for your school! Every team goes through rough patches...
