    The offense is a bit better this game than it has been previously, it is showing more tempo and the plays seem to have more options making it tougher on the defense.

    Hmm isn't a punt a "kick" not just a field or extra point? I think those should be combined. I voted TD by TE since we seem to do a good job on kicks and punts the week after a block.

    Deliberate clock management, We line up and go on first down, but on second down if the gain is less than 5 yards we take our time, if more than 5 yards we line up and go. Third downs are also more deliberate on longer yardage. This might allow the coaches more time to select the play or it might be to give the defense some rest if it looks like the drive might stall. I actually like the play result management of the clock, I think this makes a big difference on the endurance of the defense and keeps other defenses off guard on if we are going fast or taking time.

    Every week there is some aspect of the team that fails. This week it was special teams and defense. During the fourth quarter it looked like the team was sleepwalking. I know that we are 7 - 0 but this type of performance is going on for far too long. What aspect of the game will fail next week? We will lose a game this year especially if we keep this up. If this team does not show improvement quickly we will not win the AAC this year.

    Defense completely disappeared in the fourth quarter. Tulane scored on every possession. This is not going to cut it. Yes, I know we are 7 - 0 but you can kiss the conference title goodbye this team is not good enough.

    This sucks. The Tulane as scored as many points in the 4th quarter as we ahve given up all year. Coaches need to start kicking people in the ass.

    Nor sure that call was fair, the second offensive lineman fell down, it was not intended

    Our defense has given up 14 here in the fourth quarter we only gave up 21 all season. This defense has checked out.

    With the exception of the Illinois game this team has not played with emotion all year. I wonder if the team can get up for a game.

    Well Tulane did try to get something going with that onside kick but alert play by Sands.
