Wonder how much $ we get for them using our fields?
Has anyone seen or read any feedback from Bama about what they thought about our facilities in general? Just curious.

Curious if they are sticking to their rediculous "no tailgating for a night game in the stadium lots until 5 hours before kickoff" rule for tonight's game, or if they kind of turned a blind eye today, considering the magnitude of the game. All I know is I've had more than my fair share of battles with them over the years on said topic.

I just caught the end of it. Anybody have a cliff notes version?
Didn't miss a whole lot. Very little usf talk, more talk about his prediction for the game, his thoughts on Sarkisian calling plays instead of Kiffin, blah blah blah.

Exactly. Way too many Gloomy Gusses on here.

We wouldn't be a blip on the national media coverage radar today if the CFB game wasn't being played here in Tampa today.
Haha... You don't say? This just in, the sky is blue and the grass is green too.

The Bulls could use a podcast, and I have the means and the will to make one.
The pitch:
I used to cover USF athletics in-studio for BullsRadio
My co-host is a former USF cheerleading captain, who watched four years of games from on field. And we have a first episode to show for it. Recorded earlier this evening, we discuss the current state of the Bulls, compare the 2016 season to 2007, analyze the impact of Charlie Strong's arrival, preview the Birmingham Bowl, and ponder where our program goes from here.
I think this first episode came out very well, and I look forward to your feedback.

You could always ride with my buddy and I, with you having an understanding of a few ground rules:
1. We ride to every game with our shirts off and windows down, it's bad luck otherwise. No exceptions.
2. We NEVER listen to music on the ride down. We consider ourselves an extended part of the team, and can't afford outside distractions.
3. If you have any questions, refer to rules 1 and 2.

I seem to recall a couple guys wearing "fire skip" paper bags at a game towards the end of his tenure. Maybe those guys should reappear for the next home game. Puc, do you remember that?

Would be a good play if they could block.
And if grandma had balls, she'd be grandpa.

I will say this. I'm confused why it's such a crazy idea. There are countless people who have left and returned to a company or team in the past. He's back in college and will get a head job somewhere.
I'm naive I guess. In my job I have to battle against people who would happily see me get fired or go to jail on a mistake that would get them rich and move past it quickly and deal with them again.
No there aren't. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. There has NEVER BEEN a college coach that was FIRED and then came back to coach at that school. NEVER. Not once.
That is why it's such a crazy idea.
incorrect....
Don Famborough, head football coach, was fired by Kansas in '74 and then rehired in '79.
South Alabama men's basketball coach Ronnie Arrow was fired in '94, rehired in 2007 after John Pelphrey left to go to Arkansas.

A new, really cool joint, 716 Burgers and Brews in North Lakeland has recently opened (check them out on Facebook). I've talked to the owner Bo (super nice guy) about having area Bulls fans meet up at his establishment for away game watch parties, and he's more than willing to accomodate with beer/food specials for us. Haven't tasted a bad item on the menu yet, and they have a really good beer selection, with lots of domestics, crafts, etc. I'm trying to put something together for the Maryland game (noon on 9/19), and would like to see if anyone is interested! Come support a great, new local business, and also get to know your neighborhood Bulls fans. Anyone interested?

WHERE COULD ONE GET details of the accident?
if he didnt have medical insurance arent his medical bills going to be paid for by the state?
if the accident wasnt his fault did the other party have insurance?
medical bills sustained in an accident are never paid for by the state. theyre either paid by the persons health insurance, or medical coverage on their auto policy. and if it is their health insurance that pays, it can't be a state funded medical plan. medicare/medicaid doesnt pays for injuries resulting from an auto accident.
First and foremost let me wish BB a speedy recovery and I hope they attain their goal to help him with his bills.
Without hijacking the thread, I wanted to correct the statement above. Medicaid and Medicare can in fact pay for auto accident related injuries. The primary source of payment is PIP coverage that pays at 80% up to $10,000. The secondary form of coverage is then health insurance, whether private or public. If there is a recovery from an auto insurance policy under either Bodily Injury Liability coverage or Uninsured/Under Insured Motorist coverage, then the public health insurance (Medicaid and Medicare) have a statutory right to reimbursement (subrogation) and virtually all private health insurance plans now have a right to subrogate as well (either through ERISA or by the terms of the health insurance contract). Frequently, when there is a traumatic accident such as BB's a case worker from the hospital will try and retroactively qualify the patient for Medicaid, although if you have any sort of gainful, full time employment, you are unlikely to qualify.
The real issue here would be the aftercare required once he is discharged from the hospital. Even if he were Medicaid eligible, some of the services that he might require to make a full recovery might not be covered under the plan.
"If there is a recovery from an auto insurance policy" .....there's the problem, HE was at fault, therefore BI nor UM would ever factor in to begin with.

if it was HIS car and he had auto insurance, then he would get 80% of his medical bills, up to the first $10,000 covered through his PIP (personal injury protection). thats a mandatory medical coverage in our state, and always pays out first before any health insurance.

my ucla pals havent been too kind to asianti as he is walking out the door
he isnt coming here thinking he can play qb,is he?
if we still need a qb in 2016 it will be a long 2 years
I don't think there's enough known about him to be too critical. He played behind an NFL bound QB for 2 years, and then saw the #1 QB in HS sign, and getting huge raves, and decided UCLA wasn't going to work.
My only real concern is the rumor that he struggled to learn the play book. Being a successful QB means having a good mental grasp or the game and the playbook. if that's not strong, you're reacting and the game moves fast.
luckily for him our playbook is only 2 pages long.

pretty sure the $ goes to NCAA but the home team handles ticket distribution
dont you try and confuse me with your trickery and logic.

Exactly. I remember that Rutgers lost the following week much more than the week we held the #2 spot.
