I could be mistaking but I think Harris and Kofi are on the Practice Squads, still would get a ring but wont play in the game.

That being said, I want Tennessee to win it all. Also would love to see Tannehill have a big game and walk out of Hard Rock Stadium with a ring and a SB MVP Award.

As a fellow dolphins fan, please no

I’d like to remind everyone that puc  admitted the other day he is a propagandist who only cares about winning arguments with little, if any, regard for being objective, fair, and arguing in good faith. Those are his words. That’s his prerogative.

Side note: the “ignore users” function isn’t working for me. Puc was added to my ignore list days ago but I still see his hypocrisy. Anyone else having issues with the ignore function?

No offense, but it shouldn't take him admiting it come to that conclusion.

So that's a good offense if you have no OL and an immobile QB?

They ran Boyd, Watson, and Bryant plenty before Lawrence (or at the same time in Bryant's case) . Lawrence is the outlier in the  offense (and can you blame them?) and even then they took full advantage of running their QB in the most important game they played all season up to last week. CJS knows how to utilize a dual threat guy and Clemson has recruited more than their fair share. It may feel like Lawrence has been there forever but a quick look at their offenses over the years shows he's the anomaly not the standard

Except I don't know how many times it needs to be repeated, CJS runs an RPO offense, not an under center, 7 step drop offense.

So far, it appears that all of the candidates to be our starting QB can run.

Yup Clemson had a run of Dual threat guys before Lawrence. People act like they've had a long line of pocket passers before Lawrence. It kind of funny

Sometimes great people don't get hired.

Sometimes people aren't hired because they aren't great.

I don't know what the situation is here but for all the accolades and the recruiting awards I'd have thought he'd have a job by now.

There will be another flurry of coaching movement late this week after the majority of the bowls are done and more when the national coaching convention happens shortly after.

I’m complaining that we literally don’t have a full time dedicated coach through January 13 and that is a “little thing”?  I honestly laughed out loud when I read that from you.

When you say there is not a lot of work to be done, what is that based off of? It sure feels like that’s a coping mechanism to deal with an unfavorable situation.  And I say unfavorable because to me, it’s intrinsically obvious that *not* having a dedicated coach (or full staff) for longer than every other FBS team out there, is a disadvantage.

I mean, If you objectively cannot see a problem with a brand new head coach being absent for nearly a month in between recruiting periods (when he hasn’t even finished staffing his coaching positions that will be doing recruiting), then we have no common base to continue this discussion from.  To go a step further and suggest that it might actually be a benefit is just absurd to me.

The recruiting argument doesn't hold water. Dec 16-Jan 16 is a recruiting dead period

I think this was meant to be sarcastic.

But if it wasn't, then I think the reasons are obvious.  KB was tied to CCS and we have a completely new regime.  That ship has sailed, its is time to move on my friend!

    This.

After the last two seasons we needed a clean slate. CKB may be a fine coach but wrong place, wrong time

Riiiiiight. This is the one where he was asked to golf for charity instead of watching flag football.

In context it wasn't just flag football it was one of the largest tournaments in the region and a big deal at the time. This was during the peak of the 7 on 7 circuit when the it was looked like it may become like AAU is to be basketball. This was one of the most talent heavy tournaments in the region and right on  our campus. Missing it was a big deal at the time
