Should be back in time for the 1st real regular season game.
@ BC?

If it comes to it, I hope local taxpayers don't foolishly agree to pay for a new Rays stadium. Owners should privately finance all new places of business.

There's a lot of misinformation in this thread. General parking for USF games is $15 for cars, $45 for campers, and buses are $60.

I think the worst part of this is he won't be able to throw up the horns anymore... it will just be a pinky promise...
the "we're number 1" salute is going to have to get more creative now, too...shame.
he has 2 hands

It's amazing to think how under appreciated he was by a lot of fans. I have to admit that I feel silly for criticizing him at times.

4 wins.
No bowl.

Flyer and marketing aspect aside, this is not a bad thing for the program. It's open to 9th graders and above, so the more high school quarterbacks we get on campus the better. We need as much exposure with these kids as we can get.

Discuss the staff's qualifications to teach kids QB fundamentals. Keep in mind that the ad features Grothe, Blackwell, and Daniels, all of whom the current staff didn't coach.

He begged for a job at USF and never was offered. Can't blame him for moving on and actually landing a better job.
-
We would be lucky to have a stadium like UCF's. Playing off campus in a half empty NFL stadium is an awful experience.

How long can we expect to keep Kingston? Do baseball coaches jump around?

These are the current schools I found that were recruiting Smith:
Tennessee
Georgia Tech
Utah
Marquette
USC
Florida St
There is a premium Rivals article where Smith explains why he picked USF.
Hope it's a rock solid reason. History reminds me a little of Kareem Canty ....
Texas A&M freshman guard Shawn Smith has been ruled a partial qualifier and thus will be ineligible to play this season, coach Billy Kennedy said Saturday.
Smith, a 6-4 native of Jacksonville, Fla., will be allowed to remain on scholarship and practice with the Aggies but won’t be allowed to play until the fall of ’13 as a redshirt freshman. He will have four years of eligibility remaining.
He has had a wild ride to Texas A&M. He first committed to Central Florida in January of 2011 but then later switched to Missouri in August of 2011. He changed his mind again in March of this year, when he signed with Texas A&M.
Sounds like he followed the cash. Those TAMU bag men are convincing.

How could it possibly take 34% of students longer than 6 years to complete a 4 year degree???
Not saying this represents the majority of that number, but some people milk the financial aid system and live off of loans and grants.

My tickets are cheaper per game this season. Thanks Harlan!

A scandal would do more harm than a successful women's tennis program would do good. Women's tennis does nothing for the university.

I see that FAU isn't ranked. I'm not too familiar with the school, but is it decent?

ocs isn't needed
a competent winning program is needed
how can you justify building an ocs when usf is playing in the lower tier of college football
100% agree. Unless the stadium is privately funded, it doesn't make sense. The P5 will be in a completely different world sooner than later.

I'm confused about the kickoff time. Tally is in the eastern time zone so why not a noon start? It's on ESPN so does that mean that College Game Day (built by the Home Depot) will end at 11:30 this coming year instead of noon? I hope the new "normal" start time for early games is not 11:30 ET.
Harlan responded to this on Twitter yesterday. Sounds like Game Day won't be on because of the US Open.
@MarkHarlanUSF: “@joeysuarez: @MarkHarlanUSF I've never heard of an 11:30am kickoff on ESPNWon't college game day still be on?†RE: US Open on that day

@USFAthletics Campus life at #USF in January. #BayMade #GoBulls
@UCFKnights @USFAthletics yeah but campus life in January at #UCF...
Once they complete the brick facade it's going to look pretty good. Like a mini Doak. I'd like something similar for USF from the start.

I dont know would you be mad if a team cheated vs your team any chance they got?
Pats fans "Everybody's doing it"
"people hate on us"
no , no ones doing and people hate that you cheat. its not hard to understand.

so the balls were weighed before the game at 12.5. then when the Pats attendent took the balls he stopped off in a closed room for about 2 minutes, then he hit the field with the balls. Colts players and equipment staff noticed intercepted ball is underinflated. Balls are reweighed at signifigantly less than what they were before game. Belichek become Bill Nye the Science guy and tries to say it was with weather (haha) but the Colts balls were the same weight in same weather.
Now Robert Kraft, arrogantly and in a way letting his little puppet Roger Goodell know who is boss is, makes some ridiculous press conference about how the Pats did no wrong doing and DESERVE AN APOLOGY???? Robert you know who else deserves an apology? OJ Simpson, cant believe we smeared his name in the mudd without proof. I mean the guy was found innocent.
All in all, the equipment guy will be the fall guy and will claim " to have done this on his own" just like the Pats planned it along if this was to happen. Said Equipment guy will be working in Idaho inflating soccer balls for a 5-7 year old girl soccer team making 300K a year under the table from the midget troll scumbag Bob Kraft. Delete this habitual line stepping, aroogant , cheating franchise for the NFL.
this story makes me sick, not because of what they did but more because their arrogant denial and stance.
Definitionof integrity is doing the right thing when no ones watching. The Pats have ZERO. black eye for existence IMO.

usf doesn't need either at this point in time when football is in effect being downgraded
Agreed. The split between the P5 and Go5 is coming. USF will be fortunate to continue to call Ray Jay home when that happens. The conference and TV money won't be there to build and sustain an IPF or OCS.

Florida will build $15 million indoor practice facility; to be completed by September
