Another bonus for Pitt to play at Heinz Field is that they have their own separate lockerroom made just for them, along with a college visitors lockerroom. For those saying that there is no need to build a bigger stadium then what we have in attendance. That's foolish thinking. You spend X amount of dollars for a stadium that meets your current needs. Then turn around in 5 years and have to expand because attendance went up. If we do decide for a OCS, we need to plan ahead.

Here's the catch, USA plays Ghana before the Italy-Czech game. So we have to go for the kill no matter what, as opposed to knowing what we had to do before hand.

yeah, theres 7 different scenarios out there, but I just listed the two that are most likely to happen.

USA scenarios to advance. 1) USA beats Ghana. Italy beats Czech Republic. 2) Italy ties Czech Republic 0-0 or 1-1. USA beats Ghana by at least 4 goals. GO USA

Can we call it a rivalry yet? The last four games have been split 2-2, each going to the home team. Plus, some of their fans are starting to call it a rivalry. November 18th, should be interesting.

Our "U" is much better then Miami's, it's just people don't know who we are yet. That will soon change.

Once we start consistantly selling out RJS, then we will get an OCS. Remember we went 4-1 last year at home, let's help make it 6-0 this year. We need to pack RJS this year and make it our house and be loud. 12th man.

any rumors about the big games in Louisville or West Virginia, or are they like last years final games, wait and see how we're doing then decide?

I know the USF-UCF game is supposed to be brodcast on CSTV. I haven't heard of any other games getting on the air. Maybe FSN, Sunshine, or Catch 47 will pick them up.

Two I can remember are 1) the second-half kickoff returned by Simpson for a TD, and 2) Jackson's crazy run for a TD against Cincinnati (the one where he ran from one sidelne to te other and back). ;D

Not necessarily expand, but encourage current members to step up their football, such as Villanova and Georgetown. 16 teams is big enough, so just by adding two football programs will make a good conference.

Yeah I realize that they are more likely to cover UF more then USF, but here's two really bad examples. USF upsets Louisvilee ;D, only 1/2 paragraph in the "state schools" category. Same paragraph as UCF's win. More recently in the softball, UF loses and they write 7 paragraphs about their lose, while USF gets 1 sentence about making it to the final game. Once UF was eliminated, and USF was the only Florida school left, the only coverage was a box score. I'm sorry if I'm venting my anger, but I love my Bulls.

I fully agree, USF does not get enough coverage and the fan base is really limited. When I tell someone I go to USF, they ask me how I like it in Miami :. Also, the newspaper in Jacksonville hardly says anything about USF, first come the Gators, then the SEC, then FSU and if we did something very good, then USF. The only way to get more coverage is to WIN.

First I'll just state I am for an OCS. I'm gonna lay down some points for and against an OCS and RJS. SIZE: RJS is a good size for USF to play in, with some more winning seasons, attendance will increase. Once those games begin selling out, then we look at an OCS. Also, other OCS are bigger then NFL stadiums (UF 88,500, FSU 84,000, RJS 65,700). TRADITION/IDENTITY: Having an OCS gives a sense of home, not of borrowing. "The Swamp" at UF is a center of pride for most gator fans, like many other colleges. Plus, when the stadium is red, has a pirate ship, and some of the worst paint job cover-ups ever, it detracts even more from the home feel (not to mention confuses opposing fans). MONEY: USF saves money by playing at RJS, but investing in an OCS ups the schools value. It's like buying your own house instead of renting an apartment, you just increased your financial value. BEER: Don't think this obsurd, but think about it. Since we don't own RJS or the surrounding land, any laws or regulations regarding alcohal are out the window, thus trying to create a friendlier atmosphere. Yes, the SunDome is at USF, but we don't own that either, so again beer at the games. So an OCS means games are "dry". Those are my thoughts on it. I am all for it. If they decide not to go with an OCS for a long time, at least put some money into fixig the SunDome.

Here's how i think things might go down this year. 1. West Virginia 2. Louisville 3. USF 4. Pitt 5. Rutgers 6. UConn 7. Cincinnati 8. Syracuse

The Big East will not include more teams into the conference. It already has alot as it is. The best bet would be Villanova and Georgetown stepping up, or ND wanting affiliation(yeah right :), not including UCF.

Tough call for me. I was raised a gator, but I now see how cocky they are. I also don't like UCF. IF UCF does knock of UF, USF needs to go kick the snot out of UCF. IF UF wins, USF still needs to kick the snot our of UCF. So in the end it all comes down to USF KICKING THE SNOT OUT OF UCF. (go gators)
