I do understand the frustration that results from disappointing losses and losing seasons, however do you remember where you went for college football when you were in school? Yes I was a student before college football came to USF. I was the guy who traveled to G-ville, Tally, and yes Orlando. Now this week FSU is coming to MY college town. In fact I am actually hosting several FSU alumni at my tailgate. No longer do I travel to those places because my school has a team. I have been to Penn State, South Carolina, Auburn, Tally, and etc. for games. I am not happy with the current record, but I will be loud and proud on Saturday! I will talk smack with Noles fans, and remind them that they are USF's ***** (They have never beaten us in football) and that this is a HUGE TRAP GAME. When the season ends, I will line up with the rest that think Skip is over his head, if he does not right the ship. The younger crowd who went to school after USF had a team have been a bit spoiled with our signature wins over the years and I understand their "Sky is falling attitude" when it comes to this team. As for me, although I am not happy about losing....... I am thrilled to have a top ranked team coming to Tampa, I am thrilled to know we have a horse in this race, I am thrilled that my son will be acting crazy in the student section on Saturday night, and finally I am PROUD TO BE A BULL! Get over the **** losses and back YOUR BULLS! Some on this board can remember when they would have to travel quite a distance to cheer for some other person's school! GO BULLS BEAT THE NOLES!

I think this D line has some talent, but the coaches aren't turning it loose. Holtz got scared after getting scorched by Nevada and the pistol offense and proceeded to neuter the defense. It goes back to his tentative no balls approach to coaching. Holtz even mentioned on his call in show after Rutgers about why the didn't rush up the field and go after Nova and he said didn't do much of it because he didn't want to get burnt by the QB running. I'm paraphrasing but the WTF!

The thing I'm most disappointed with in the Holtz era is the sense that our team has no fire. During the game it look like they could not ne less interested in being there.

This is what bothers me most. The lack of fire and passion. This comes from the culture the head coach installs.

Thanks guys. Kind of bitter sweet. I didn't want to pick Balls Tate (I know I just like typing it...makes me laugh) but I had no confidence our defense could stop their offense.

The bulls are playing down to the competition and were likely looking ahead to next week's game. Maybe they just weren't prepared for this game. We were not blown out. We lost by 4 points... No, we should not lose to Ball State, but it's one game. Unless we're playing for a NC the only games that matter are conference games. A loss to Ball State hurts, but again, we're not playing for a NC this year...

No I don't. They might luck in to 1 or 2 but I can't say, oh they should be beat this team. FSU will easily hang half a hundred on this defense. This team realistically could be 1-3 right now, if not for some bad coaching by Nevada and some late game heroics by BJ.

This is a bad uninspired football team that plays with no emotion. Just look at the sidelines during the game, nobody seems to care.
