FYI...USF has had a 10,000 on-campus arena for their basketball program since 1980...as USF has hosted almost 450 games in that building. Till last fall, UCF only had a 4,500 seat on-campus arena for their basketball program. Yes, the crowd of 6,695 (closer to 7K than 6K) was the 2nd largest ever for UCF as only a game vs Tulsa last year drew more folks. NOTE: UCF's game vs Memphis might break the record on Jan 10th...but no clue how UCF will market that game (still can't buy single game tix...as UCF might be putting together a 2-3 game package...but they sure are waiting to the last minute to do so). This doesn't explain the "passion" from your student section much like seen at the last football game. Your little koolaid drinkers were all excited over this matchup. Question, what post season tourney are the Bulls going to, the Big Dance or the Apple one? I realize you guys are still new to the world of major college basketball but invites don't go out until March... And lost 4 times ... have they ever won a post season game?

Two years ago CUSA sent only ONE team to the post season. Last year, still only a one-bid conference to the NCAA's but did get 2 to the NIT. Obviously, things may be better this year but relevancy pertains to getting to the post season, so his comments weren't THAT far off based on past performance. No question that the UNM win was your biggest to date this year ..... possibly your biggest ever in the scope of things.

You need to seriously reconsider lumping Vega in with warp. Go back and read the posts. Vega gave some props to UCF for the win and didn't get a little feisty until your mouthbreathers started to chiime in...

Karma is begging and whining for years to play a football series and when you finally get it, not being able to squeeze out at least one win, being dominated in the process ..... Once again Karma. Like USF in the Big East. LOL .... That makes no sense, "coach". It's amazing what crawls out from under rocks when USF hits some rough spots and UCF actually wins a game. I saw that one of the other board losers, K_L, popped his head out over on the Main Board with some of his mind numbing attendance drivel ..... makes me almost wish that if we have to have UCFers pulling this stuff, some of the old, interesting ones would have come back. Enjoy your conference title... you are obviously thrilled that it happened and so is your team, since it appears they've stopped trying to achieve anything more than that this year. "Achieve anything more than that"?? That implies they are settling for just trying to win the title again. Teams that are trying to repeat don't get blown out by a team on a 9 game losing skid....

What's funny is that more than a few actually believe that GOL is the problem. He was COY at Ga Tech .... compiled a 45-33 record while there, in a BCS conference. The problem is that some coaches can't make chicken salad out of chicken **** and O'Leary appears to be one of those guys. He did fine at Ga Tech. You don't forget how to coach. The real problem, for whatever reason, is UCF itself .... maybe it's just karma for having some of the whiniest, delusional fans in college football.

Do you boys have anything at all figured out? Yes, their is a difference in having a good team and having a good program. In order to proclaim having a good program you must at least hoist 1 conference trophy before claiming to be part of the big 3. That is all. : Congrats on being the tallest midget.
