Will mean nothing. Skip's offense scored on its first play from scrimmage IIRC.
I was joking...

I'm an out of town alum and flying in for the first 2 games of the season. So hopefully, we can at least split in Tampa and Atlanta.

I'm in game mode. I want some action.
Work usually begins to go undone about a week out from kickoff. But the #PlayFastScoreFaster mentality has me in the #ThinkFootballWorkLess mentality so much faster than ever before.
So interested in seeing
- The new Bell offense
- If the defense stop the Badgers run game
- How well Horne is
- How Ford adds new dimension from slot/wide
- The gentleman run for 100+
Those come to mind right away....
What are you most interested in seeing?
Wish I could hit that luncheon tomorrow.
1) Seeing if Bell's offense can score on the first play from scrimmage
2) Seeing if BJM's defense can stop JT from scoring on the first play from scrimmage

Nevermind, looks like it was just a delay. Tickets are now open for Wisconsin!

Guys, I'm an out of state alum flying back for the Wisconsin game. I bought the Boundless Bulls Pass to redeem 10 tickets for the game. It says you can redeem starting 8/1 where every game is available now for redemption except Wisconsin.
Do you know if they are planning to open redemption later this month for the game? Any help is appreciated.

Anyone know if Illinois will be selling alcohol inside of Soldier Field? My gut reaction is they will, but lots of B1G teams have restrictions on this (except in the club and suites). I think Maryland is the only one to do it. They don't sell at the B1G championship game in Indy. Any info would help...

Yeah usually 2nd week of Feb

If it is at Solider Field (which it appears more and more likely that this remains the case, since USF changed their website in the last 24 hours), then I am definitely in.
Champaign... not so sure.
I will be there with him if it's in the Windy City.

Luckily they have a day specifically for makeups, so I would have no problem missing an exam slotted for our CCG time slot.
Well that's good then

SMU-Memphis result will give you an extremely good idea of location for CCG if USF makes it.

They have Block Examinations all day on Saturday, and I lucked out and am taking the course that has to go at night.
All I know is that if someone scheduled an exam over a CCG time slot that we played in, I'm starting to look into changing majors after I no showed that exam. Luckily, I work now and have already booked separate flights to Memphis and Tampa in case we make it.

Dec. 2nd is the first day of Finals. I have a final exam that night so I am glad it is a noon kickoff so I will be able to go to the game should it be hosted in Tampa.
Holy crap, they have final exams scheduled for Saturday nights now?!? WTF

So you're saying if both USF and Memphis win out, Memphis will be ranked higher than us in the CFP rankings which is the tiebreaker for hosting the AAC championship?
Yes, only scenario I can see us playing at home is if SMU beats Memphis.

Is last night enough of a blemish, or do the Gators take him?
Not sure I'll miss him.
He did improve the overall defensive scheme, so there's that.
Sigh...
They will only target guys with an offensive mind. Think Frost, Campbell, and Mullen.

Just a reminder, that mostly likely scenario is USF @ Memphis IF USF wins out. Southwest has TPA-MEM non-stops that you can cancel for free as long as you plan to fly within a year.

Excellent suggestion! Did not think about that. Love southwest as they have two direct flights from NH to TPA every day. Thank you sir!
No problem, I booked a flight to TPA and MEM just in case.

I hope I have a decision to make
Book on Southwest now and cancel for free after UCF game if necessary. Credit is good for one year from time of booking. This way it's not a last minute (high) fare.

I disagree, not on their DL, but that I'll be disappointed. We have the speed to take it outside, would be nice to see the adjustment from SG.
Mostly was referring to the winning by a minimum of 30. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I am going to try and build on the economics lesson from another thread to get through to you about how "opening up an offense" works.
Right now we have a huge overabundance of points & yards at a very low price (playcalling) because the demand (opponent toughness) is not there. If we see a shift in the demand curve (we play a tougher team) then we will raise the price to get the same quantity of wins. Until then it makes no economic or football sense to play harder or call more advanced plays.
That was mind blowing lol

Regardless of how we do it, passing or running, we need to destroy Houston. 50+ points offense, win by 30 min.
There is a good chance you're disappointed on Saturday. They have one of the most dominant interior defensive lineman in the country and he has the ability to alter games by himself. I'll be happy with a win.

Does anyone really think we have kept the playbook “vanilla” on purpose thru 7 games?
I do. No point in opening a playbook when you can win with 'vanilla'.
Helmets
in USF South Florida Bulls Athletics
Posted
Those are the helmets we made in 2008 and stored at my Tampa Palms apartment and not the athletic facility (to keep them as a surprise to players). They did make their debut at the 2008 Magic Jack Bowl. The original white helmets were dark green logos and a single green stripe. I remember Taurus Johnson's face when he walked back in from warm ups and saw all those hanging in the locker room haha. Good times.
