    We're still going to have to beat the bottom dwellers consistantly if we want to raise our profile. No more losing to UCONN. No more losing to Pitt. No more losing to Cinci...and dare I say it, no more losing to Rutgers. (I realize some of those teams are pretty solid, but i think we need to be able to beat those teams without much question year in and year out.)

    SEEMS LIKE leavitt doesnt give our team much of a chance If he said we were going to go in there and battle and blah blah blah you'd be crying about how optimistic he is. When he doesnt come out and cheerlead you say he doesnt give us a chance.

    Can't tell you the outcome but pretty dang sure it will be on a double reverse pass!!! Go big or go home! ;D

    The band is much improved. And not only at the Men's games. They represent just as well at the Women's games. (my only knock would be on the All-American chant for Jessica Dickson, while i love the chant, at first it almost sounds like over rated.)

    Some may call last year's win against Louisville a signature.

    The Oline gave Grothe time about 6 times the entire game...and when they did the recievers dropped passes or stopped running routes. I thought the recieving corps were much improved to this point, but i think they took a step back tonight. Grothe didn't have his best game, but he certainly played better then he did at Cinci.

    Grothe is getting killed. I hope we've got some guys lined up for that position...the guys we've had in there tonight have looked very overmatched.

    Richardson had 9 Points and 6 boards in 21 minutes tonight. He's not a superstar, but 7 PPG and 7 RPG is not a liability. Especially comming from a role player. He was also 3 for 7 and wasnt ever more than two feet from the basket. Had a lot of balls stuffed back in his face and missed layups. He plays soft.

    The biggest difference so far is when someone comes off the bench they're not a liability (with the exception of Richardson, but it's not that bad). That's the kind of depth we've been lacking for the last few years.

    I'm trying not to get ahead of myself due to the competition, but this team has a chance to be pretty **** good. Amu Sakka impressed me a lot tonight. I can't wait to see what Kantrell and Jesus bring to the table...then Chris Howard in January.
